	I am looking for a vanilla relationship, one based on mutual respect and equality. I am hoping to find a chemistry with someone that could lead to a real long term relationship. Before I get told that I am well and truly out of place, let me explain why I am searching on this site: I think basing a relationship purely on D/s is fickle and foibled. While I love to submit and severely shift the power balance and have enjoyed the extremes of BDSM, my understanding of the D/s paradigm is deep and I take it seriously. So I value the importance of loving your partner. I think the relationship should develop without the pressures or expectations of D/s. If both have a penchant for kink it will happen spotaneously and naturally and based on true and deep emotion. People are here for different reasons, and this is mine. I just hope there are not just Doms who also value a D/s relationship being real and deep and longlasting with a respectfully vanilla foundation, but that some of those few are my type! So, now a littleabout me: warm, intelligent, passionate, courageous and creative. Honest and communicative. I don't suffer fools but I also wear my heart on my sleeve. I am seaching for someone who can earn my admiration and devotion and have theirs evoked as well.

While I think any D/s relationship is based on equality, I think subs tend to prefer submitting to those who for whatever reason, they can hold up higher than themselves in some ways. Someone they can aspire to follow. So submitting to a Dom beneath their intelligence i don't think is possible for a sub. A sub who 'tops from the bottom' is probably sorting the wheat from the chaff and testing the Doms ability to exert a greatness over her that inspires her. Only the sub knows intuitively if a Dom has what it takes to dominate her. Many Doms don't like this and so would be more suited to a less intelligent sub.
