If you are a gentleman who knows what "taken in hand" is, I would love to speak with you.

I am not a submissive per se. I am a lady who believes in the "taken in hand" concept. I suppose you could say I am old fashioned in my thinking that the man should be the head of the household and the lady supports and follows him.
Does that make me a doormat. Not by any means. I can still express my viewpoint on any topic or issue, however, in the end, I defer to the man's decision as the head of our household.
