Seriously, in a matter of months BDSM seems to have gone from being something creepy,disturbed weirdos do in darkened basements, to window size ads in WH Smith, and being read by your Mam. WTF?
Just a shame it's on account of such a f*cking awful excuse for a book. Although if it's helping more people get comfortable with their inner kink I suppose it's all good, although I'd hope for as many people as possible it's a swift stepping stone to something a bit more healthy and representative of fetish as a whole.
Anyway, yeh, enough of the 50 Shades of Shit rant, profile update time.
I suppose I can't really call myself entirely a novice at this any more, I've been in a few relationships with a distinctly kinky element to them over the last few years, it's a bit dull going back to missionary every night once you've had the full range of dynamics that BDSM brings to a relationship.
I'm more into the idea of some safe, consensual fun than the whole 24/7 thing, on the whole. I've yet to mistake myself for a barbarian overlord, or a God to all the heathen concubines thankfully. Because let's face it, the average barbarian overlord is generally a scrawny accountant called Tim, who lives in a bungalow in Burnley or something.
Other interests include gigs, clubbing, cooking, reading, keeping fit.
Really just interested in chatting to some interesting, sane, like-minded people at the moment, although wouldn't rule out the possibility of something more if I found anybody I clicked with.
