I'm a grad student in NYC--native NYer. I love going to the movies, museums, going out to eat (Italian, Indian, Thai, Japanese, dim sum, Soul Food), going to Central Park, playing board games, randomly walking into book fairs, theater, and concerts, and attending conferences that suit my interests, which include social justice and politics, sexuality and gender, race, and history, among many other things. I love to read. :)
You're probably wondering what I'm looking for. Well, I was an undergrad in Jersey when I found out that there was actually a community for people like me, I wasn't weird, and there was nothing wrong with me. I felt less alone, but I also wanted to explore. I kind of did--even created a previous account here (which you may find floating around--hoping to get that deleted soon), but I never really got a chance to do much of anything, and that is where you (potentially) come in.
I am a switch, but I lean heavily toward sub. I like to say, "My brain is a switch; my heart is a sub." :) When one teases out all the letters, I am most naturally inclined toward D/s more than anything else by far. For me, D/s relationships are *strictly* in the bedroom. Whether we create a romantic relationship or are just friends with benefits, outside of the bedroom I am your equal (because, you know, I *am*). Period.
In the bedroom, however (or the bathroom...kitchen...living room...ha), I love being told who I am (a whore, a naughty girl) and what to do (bend over, face down ass up!). I love role playing. My favs are things like student/teacher, boss/employee, and age play. (Not the ones in which I am a minor, just May-December stuff...drives me nuts, in a good way. :) ) I am also into ravishment, aka rape fantasy.
I am looking for a safe place and a safe person with whom I can explore the community and myself. We can be friends or it can develop into something more. I'd rather see where it goes one way or the other. I'm looking for someone who will respect me as a human being, who is at least interested in hanging out/being friends, who is all about being safe and consensual (I love PRETENDING to relinquish consent--let's get that straight.) and cares about my well-being. I absolutely love to please--trust me when I say this, but hey this is the internet, and I have to make sure as best as I can that I am safe.
In terms of the kind of people I like, my tastes are very varied. I identify as bisexual, but strictly speaking most people would identify me as pansexual. I've liked cisgender men and women, transgender men and women, Black, White, Asian, Latino/a, mixed, my age and 20, 30, or 40 years my senior, tall and short, slim and large, blonds, redheads, brunettes, and so much more. I joined FL (collarme doesn't seem to let me say the competition's name which is fucking ridiculous) about 9 days ago and went to my very first (non-sex) kink-related event yesterday--a support/discussion group for local submissive women (or switches, like me, with their sub hat on). It was such a rich and informative discussion, and the ladies were so nice. I will definitely be going back. <3 |

Still looking for The One...
In other news, the spring semester is starting on Monday. Can't believe winter break is over already, but I'm mostly glad. In the mean time, I'm looking for work that pays well enough that I can keep this apartment once my roommate moves out (when the lease is up) this summer, without having to find another roommate. It's a one bedroom--I'd love to finally have a place 100% to myself. :) |

Today was my first day back on CM after several years. I received a crapload of messages from people, lol. Lots of friendly and welcoming people, but so far, two people are standing out.
