Why is it some people think that if a submissive or slave requests a photograph, the sub or slave is trying to Top from the bottom?  In my humble opinion that submissive or slave is just being careful and wants to verify someone is real before starting to converse. 

Yes, i am well aware that a photograph can be faked.  (my Master reminds me of that fact often.) But when dealing with the online world, people have to start somewhere - and a picture is the best place TO start.  And i don't blame a submissive or slave for asking for a regular photograph instead of a professional photo.  i mean anyone can go to a professional website, copy a photo and send it.  Asking for a "normal" photo (which still could be hi-jacked from somewhere) makes sense to me.

Now if the sub or slave starts telling a person how to pose...well then that could be considered Topping from the bottom.

And before casting a stone one should explore how one presents himself or herself.  If one has many words spelled incorrectly what message is one sending about him or herself.  Just saying.
