My profile muse seems to have gone on holiday vacation. I had originally taken this profile down due to a spate of e-mails I sent to Doms that weren't returned. I first thought, hmmm, must be my profile. Then I came to my senses and thought, well if those idiots are too classless and rude to respond to a friendly overture; well then they don't meet my standards. |

THE GREEN DOG
1. I love you not only because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry. 3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. 4. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. 5. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. 6. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
7. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful. 8. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around. 9. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.

Today is September 11th. A defining day in not only Americas', but in the worlds conciousness. I am still sad. I am unusually quiet today. Someone asked me.......why? did you know someone that died? To that I answer...no....but yes.
They were my mother, my father, my sister and brother. My aunt and uncle and cousin. They were the clerk at the dry cleaner, my dentist, my doctor, my friend, and my neighbor. They were the cute fireman I asked for directions when I got lost and the woman who cleans the building where I work. They were my babysitter, and the ones I babysat for. They were sons and daughters, bankers, laywers and fast food workers. They were my garbage man, my butcher, the florist, and the secretary. They were my cashier in the cafeteria, and my mechanic, they were my lover and they were loves I had not met. They were the bus driver, the accountant and the police officer. They all had someone that loved them. They all have someone that misses them.
i know i still do.
And they all, regardless of what their passport might have said, on that day....
They were all American.
So ya, I guess I do know them. |

*********BELMONT BABY!!!***********
Let's send up a collective prayer to the Thoroughbred Horse Racing God's that Big Brown get's it done today. I was 10 years old when Cruget rode Seattle Slew to the Triple Crown. It was the beginning of a lifelong love affair with the horse. I think I might be as nervous as Kent Desourmeaux :P Since Casino Drive has been scratched, so it seems as though the door is wide open. Denis of Cork seems to be getting some play though. Well, that's why they run the race.

Yes, the Derby winner takes it with style and ease. Just coasting for home the last eigth of a mile. Hopefully he has enough left for the "Test of a Champion", the mile and a half Belmont. |

PREAKNESS BABY!!!!
Second leg of the Triple Crown, and the shortest of the three. Big Brown's convincing Derby win has everyone talking Triple Crown for this colt. I do so hope this happens, as it would be wonderful for the sport of racing. Oh, I just heard Big Brown will be standing at Three Chimney's farm for stud. And me without a mare *L*
Now, as for beverages, while the Black Eyed Susan sounds a lot better than that damn Mint Julep, I will be sticking with my Blue Moon today, hopefully watching Big Brown continue on the trail towards that most elusive of prizes, the Triple Crown.
Enjoy the race :)

*****On your knees BITCH*****
You know those e-mails, right? Well, if your a femme sub you do. Or the always popular:
*Come and serve Me now!! I am your Master*
Easy enough to deal with, just laugh then delete. Hell, most find those ridiculous no matter what side of the D/s slash they fall on. So what makes it any different, in an IM conversation? When the first thing out of your mouth is......Are you sub or slave? I think to myself...wtf??? I am NEITHER as far as your concerned right now. Do I jump right in with...are you a Dom, or a Master? Do you have a dungeon? How many toys do you have? blah blah blah. (No I do not) Is it the relative anonymity of the internet that allows people to give reign to such attrocious manners? Or do they simply lack home training?
Is it wrong for me to assume that someone should perhaps get to know me a bit, before inquiring to which depths I will go to serve them? There is another actual PERSON, on this end of the screen yanno? I have thoughts, and hopes. Dreams, interests, hobbies and friends, insecurities and strengths. Submission is a big part of who I am, but it's not ALL that I am.
I always thought that patience was a key element in Domination, one which I admired tremendously, seeing a lack in my own self. This seems not to be the case however. I suppose one can't even blame the Dom's, as there are so many faux submissive's/slaves out there who I am sure will say or do anything....oh Sir, oh Master, i'll do anything, i'm a no limits slave, please, oh please allow me to serve You!!!!....just have someone, anyone in their life. Being continually approached like that surely must have some bearing on how you interact with others. Does it give you the right however, to treat me as no more than a commodity? Allow me to set the record straight. It does not.
I love being a submissive woman, it is something I am very proud of, and hold most dear. But if you think that arrogance, impatience and rigidity are Dominant traits, please think again.
Am I perfect? Hell no, not even close. After all I'm only human. Something that those I choose to speak with, would do well to remember. |

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. A true rite of spring, the first Saturday in May brings the best thoroughbred horseflesh in the world to race in the Kentucky Derby. The sport of Kings. The Run for the Roses!!
So I'm sitting here drinking my Blue Moon....none of those icky mint juleps for me..ugh..have you tasted one of those things? Nasy business. And I've got my hat on, so I'm all set to go. If I was a wagering woman, which I'm not, but if I was, gender compels me to go with the filly Eight Belles. I know everyone's all hot on Big Brown or Colonel John, but I'm sticking with the filly. I do have a soft spot for Denis of Cork simply because Calvin Borel is the jockey and he's adorable, but he's a longshot.
Enjoy the race everyone.

Wishes
Someday someone will see me... For who I really am. He will see beyond my smile and 'big girl' attitude. He will look in my eyes and see my NEED, burning hot in my soul. He will see the real me, the sensitive me, the submissive me.
Someday someone will know me... He will know I hide behind a mask. He will know how I yearn. He will know that I'm scared and he will take my hand and lead the way.
Someday someone will touch me... He will free my true spirit. He will touch my body like no other. He will use this body as an instrument, with which he will play a beautiful song. He will hold me, bind me, love me.

I am SUCH a good girl!! I have responded to 11 e-mails, sent 1 new, am down to 5 messages in my mail-box, excercised, cleaned the bathroom, paid bills, washed my hair and shaved, cleaned the cat box, got my clothes ready for work tomorrow, and changed the sheets. I got my car serviced this weekend, had lunch at my Mom's, went to dinner with my sister and her family. Had a lovely chat with my Mentor, went grocery shopping, did laundry....ahhhh, life. *L* Now I am going to finish off my e-mails and have some tea; hoping that a certain Gentleman that I had a friendly, albeit short, e-mail exchange...would write me back, as I would absolutely love to get to know him better..so if your listening....a*******, well, I'd love to hear back from you. |
|
|
|
|
I am confused.
Why would someone, on one hand, write a beautiful profile, extolling the virtues of honesty, and trust and open communication; saying how "real" they are, and they are looking for a r/t relationship. That they understand the D/s dynamic and the honor needed, yet not even have the decency to respond to a polite introductory e-mail? Even if they were not interested, you would think that they would at least have the courtesy to reply.
And yes, I know, I have an in-box full of mail that I am trying to respond to, and will, but seriously...how much mail do male Doms get on this site? If it follows form from the other alternative sites, I'd have to say not much. So....what's the deal? Is this guy just an a**hole not worth my time? Because thanks to CM's wonderful mail service, I know he's read my note.
See, it's guys like this that give the good guys a bad rap. It's guys like this that make one's wall's go up just a little bit higher.....making it that much harder for the sincere one's to get a shot. *sighs softly* And the sad bastard part of it is.....I don't want to be jaded, and in a lot of ways I don't think I am, but damn. Has simple courtesy gone the way of the dinosaur?
