Doing highly analytical work in real life, I can not help but examine ways to truly submit in an online fashion.

Submitting online has it's own unique set of challenges. Online is more like long distance. Typically online infers that there will never be a real life meeting.

Online communications may include email, , social sites, chat rooms, skype, web cam, texting, and possibly phone calls.

With a webcam, tasks and punishment can be administered and verified. Standing in heels for an hour? Clothes pins on nipples for 10 minutes? Masturbation with Icy Hot? With a web cam the dominant can see all. WIth a one way webcam the dominant need not always be observing, but the submissive has to assume the dominant is always watching.

Verification of tasks and instructions can have it's own unique set of challenges. Watching live video it is easier to verify something is being done as ordered. What about when not on video? Nearly everyone has a cell phone with a camera and that can be used to verify certain types of instructions.

Take a submissive man ordered to wear panties to work. It would be easy to send a photo in the morning and change into something different unless..... If the dominant feels there is cheating going on, she can request a pantie pic more often with special instructions. Example: pic with one finger touching thigh/penis/etc. Two fingers. Other objects. You get the idea. There reaches a point where compliance is easier than cheating.

Plastic numbered locks are easy to photo verify as well. They can be easily removed in case of emergency, but still have to be broken to be removed. Did the submissive actually sleep wearing that collar? Were ankle cuffs actually worn all day? Photos before bed and upon waking will tell the true story.

The Magic of Markers

Permanent markers for an online submissive are an amazing tool indeed. Every morning when looking in the mirror the submissive will see their markings. Words of encouragement? Words of punishment? Just a simple Property Of....

Can they be washed off? Sure. Most are non toxic. Some come of with soap, others require alcohol or other solvent.

I found Bic Mark-it brand permanent markers to be immune to ordinary soap. I read online that they can be removed with alcohol, but have not tried it yet. I found when not scrubbed, the black ones will last 5 or more days.

Sharpies seemed to wash off quite easily, both on skin and otherwise.

With photo verification, cheating becomes more difficult. A dedicated submissive wont worry about trying to remove the writing.

Cheaters my try to wash it off. With photo verification daily or more often, the cheater will eventually find it easier to just leave the writing on rather than remove it. Anything washed off and re-added later will obvious because of photo history and the keen eye of the Dominant.

Now the fun begins. Every morning looking in the mirror the subbie is reminded of their place. Thigh writings are seen quite often, every time they sit in the lavatory. Seeing a "PROPERTY OF" every morning while looking in the mirror is a powerful reminder.
