But there again... it seems that the ninny who blocked me so he couldn't be told what was what...remains here still; still ranting;still railing at the world. It seems I was not alone at seeing just nothing but anger and getting at people and hey ho true to form he saw fit to have a go and then block me. A stranger to reasoned argument then.
You know.... one should not be drawn into pure silliness..... so I am deleting my previous posting. It was just that a bit of interest and care was met with hostility. No need for it. The profile or whatever he is removing is prob better ......off . |

Was nice to get away. France....well Calais... and the wine warehouses..... well they were very sparse as was Carrefour re wines and spirits. Might explain why I had to pay £18 for half a bottle of white wine at Babylon roof gardens restaurant !

A break at last..... off to London for a few days with a friend to maybe go to more interesting places. Oh and a day to France. :)
It is just the drive that is daunting....cannot be doing with traffic and queuing. |

A really kind friend gave me a copy of "Boy in the striped pyjamas" I had missed it at the cinema...... a well photographed film and some nice performances. .... and raw.
And now I am aware this is turning into a failed Guardian film critic thing. A bit sad really eh?

Knew it was a mistake to go and see Watchmen. An overlong film and I found myself wondering how many production meetings they held to decide how many milimetres of non erectile blue willy they should show. |

No invites. A girlie night in it was. Anyone else sick to back teeth of videos.... i got bought Mama Mia.... I had avoided it at the cinema and now had to watch it.
I am so glad I never went to watch it.
I need a good film to go see.

 Had a good few days away. Now back and will try to answer new messages. Party tonight is now off as people are ill. So glad I came back...... well actually I was back in work for a day and a half so couldnt have stayed away longer. But tonight is messed up. Will ring a couple of friends to try for even a girly night in. Don't fancy anywhere in town that's for sure. You never know I might persade someone into giving me an invite.
