I truly wonder if anyone here is real, if anyone is here for anything more than to look at pics.
Does something have to make sense in order to be real? Does something have to be easy in order to be real? Do other people have to understand in order for it to be real? Does a profile have to tell a story in order for the person to be real? One message sent? 10? 100? 1000? For each 1000 messages sent, contacts made . . . how many readers will be real enough to respond? Real enough the take a chance? I'd given up hope . . . given up the hope for real joy, real peace, real love. Given up the hope for Mrs. Right. And then real took a chance. Does it make sense? Will it be easy? Will people understand? Real doesn't always make sense. Real isn't always easy. So much that is clearly real defies understanding by those who don't wish today. Over just a few days, two incongruent paths cross. Two incongruent lives intertwine. Hope is restored. Joy is spread. Peace is felt. Dare I say love is formed? From/with/for two such incongruent souls. Tomorrow, I start to learn to play the piano. Tomorrow, I mark my calendar with a reminder to buy Kit Kats. Tomorrow, I learn how to use red font. A rambling, nonsensical journal entry? Or a message that real will understand loud and clear? For some, every day is Valentine's Day. Some are born that way. Others can take an incongruent journey to find it. What's it all mean? She will understand. Real will understand.
