| My submission needs reason and purpose. I have no innate need to serve and submit merely for the sake of submitting. I may fantasize about being your complete and total slave, and will enjoy being so in scene, but most of the time abject submission is not a part of my nature. I am intelligent, strong willed and independent. I think of myself as your equal and expect to be treated as such, with the same respect that you expect from me. This might be called roll playing, perhaps it is to a large extent, and yet, there is an exception.
If I'm in love.
Love changes my perception of submission. Instead of being the focus of what _I_ want to experience, submission becomes an outward expression of the love I feel for my partner. When I'm in love I will seek to please my partner, making her life easier, obeying her commands without complaint and seeing that her needs are met. The privilege and opportunity to serve and submit to her now becomes a joy.
As our trust and love for each other grows, so will the degree of freedom and control I am willing to yield to you. With time I can see myself choosing to become your slave. Love is what makes me choose to submit to you. Love is what compels me to worship you as my Goddess. And I seek your love in return. The expression may appear different, training, punishing, owning and dominating me, but I know that the intent is the same.
While filling out my profile I found the list of interests I could choose from to be extremely limited, so I'll take a moment to list some of mine here.
