Raised in London, schooled in East Anglia.
Spent five years tinkering in Northern California. Left before it made me soft (sunshine turns me cherry-colored in 30 minutes).
Spent time in New Zealand, India, Egypt (Mubarak left a few days after I did).
What am I doing with my life? Taking small nibbles out of Earth-sized problems, professionally. Looking for the big bite. (I lead a research group.)
