Not Sure I Fit In Here.......
Is it possible to find that special person who shares the right balance of vanilla and more exotic interests? I am a single white male, age 41 seeking a mature woman who enjoys what the world has to offer. Age is not as important to me as maturity. Over the years I have known people in their twenties who were quite professional, and unfortunately others in their thirties (and older) who were the opposite.
I have thought of kink and submission most of my life, even before I could really comprehend just where my feelings were leading me. In my late teens and early twenties came exploration of those feelings, along with much learning in the process.
I know now that I thoroughly enjoy 'play', submission and power exchange. I have a wide array of interests which include bondage & discipline. More importanlty is the psychological aspect of giving up control to someone I trust, the pre-scene "butterflies", being held in place while I squirm, and (of course) the deep feeling of submission.
From reading, speaking with different people, and other experiences I have found that everyone has their own impression of 'D&S' and what it means to them.
That said, I am hoping to find someone to share these feelings & regular life as well. I'm not particularly interested in 'the scene' as I never really enjoyed the available clubs and parties which I attended. I am not being critical, I just found them not to my personal liking. I preferred small groups, and mostly private submission.
I have a wide range of interests, and have a medium sized collection of fetish apparel, crops, floggers, paddles, restraints, and other materials from my travels.
My vanilla interests include music of various types. I enjoy attending concerts at Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall, and Tanglewood. I enjoy 'hole-in-the-wall' clubs to hear Jazz, Blues, or whatever strikes the mood. You will also find me browsing the import bins in music stores as I enjoy music from around the world.
I read quite a bit, again a variety of titles depending upon the mood. This can be anything from history, to the classics, to even more recent classics such as Calvin & Hobbes.
I enjoy travel, and would like to explore Europe (Germany, Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, etc..), Japan and Australia in detail. I also enjoy US travel, as San Francisco is one of my favorite cities (along with Boston).
I hope to find someone who enjoys the activities I mentioned above. Someone who is independent, intelligent, quirky, and has a good sense of humor. Someone who is aware of what is happening in the world around them. Someone who enjoys the different seasons here in New England.
I would prefer to find someone who is active, not necessarily a slave to the gym, but enjoys working up a sweat. I try to stay in shape by running or working out at the local gym. I like to go hiking, but I have not been able to do that as much lately as I would like.
I have always wanted to learn to sail.

Mother Nature, I kiss your boots. You dropped more than a foot of snow on me, so I spent the afternoon shoveling (how did I ever forget to buy a snowblower??). I am now deliciously sore. Thank you Mother Nature, I will never say 'no' to you. |
