Teetering on a massive new project. Looking at the risks society takes without consideration, toying with the communication puzzle. How to encourage people to understand difficult challenges without driving them to perverse behaviour. Ironically, around here perverse behaviour is common, but more likely to be well considered with controlled consequences.

"I always get my way."  is not a mantra of domination, but a delusion of childhood.  It is funny how many people mix incompatable desires.  If you want a long term arangement, you need to establish something that is sustainable.

I prefer the model of George Bernard Shaw:
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

There is no reason the think an unreasonable man expects to win on every single frickin occation, or that he would demant cash up front for no reason.  He's not stupid.
