| Soulful Poet
When I write, I write for my pleasure
It helps me examine my soul,
to uncover those things that make me tick.
Sometimes to express my grief.
Sometimes being moved in some significant way.
I read others for the same reason.
When I comment, it's to let you know this.
We write often because we can't do in real life
what we might wish to or
that which hurts us to our core.
Empathy is the thing that distingushes us from animals.
As does other more base feelings.
We all have a dark side and a light side.
They both co-exist within our frame.
I want to better understand myself
and perhaps to enlighten others
Perhaps even to find themselves.
