Troegs Nimble Giant only distributed once a year.  69 IBUs, 9%, really excellent stuff if you can find it.  I did!

7/16/2016 4:59:51 AM
Drinking beer in a condo for the next week, family vacation time.

6/18/2016 3:25:08 PM
Hop mouth Double IPA from Arcadia Ales is a great brew.  Scary green label so drink in the dark.

5/18/2016 2:02:11 PM
Third Wave IPA by Christian Moerlein is wonderful, just hoppy enough, with floral and citrus flavors.  An interesting story too, C. M. was a german immigrant who made beer in Cincinnati in 1853 and was bought out by Hudepohl.  The brand was bought by a brave Cincy business man and we now have Third Wave and other flavors to relish.

5/2/2016 2:32:59 PM
Flying Dog has another in their Single Hop Series, ELLA IPA.  De lic ous.  Juicy stone fruit with crisp finish.  8%.

4/27/2016 2:37:19 PM
Short's Brewing of Elk's Snout, i mean Elk Rapids, has Huma Lupa Licious IPA.  Alcohol unknown but on the label they state, "a complex malt and hop theme park in your mouth."  Not much i should say about that, but there is something going on there.

4/1/2016 1:41:16 PM
Revolution Brewing from Chicago has a great IPA, 1Z Enuff, Imperial IPA.  11% alcohol so drink slowly, 4 hops, Crystal, Simcoe, Amarillo and Chinook.  No long i like it.

3/31/2016 1:52:53 PM
i haven't said much lately but Aviator Brewing makes a great Hogwild IPA, 3 malts and 5 types of hops.  Aviator is in Fuqua Virnay, NC, and i bet i spelled that wrong.  LOL.  And from Asheville Straight to Ale, try Monkeynaut, u will laugh your ass off.

2/29/2016 2:45:18 PM
Another great one from Dogfish Head, Beer to Drink Music to, a belgian style Tripel.  So yummy!!!  Great flavor, try it if you can find it.

1/27/2016 2:10:54 PM
Shout out to Dark Horse brewing of Marshall, MI, there Double Crooked Tree IPA is sweet.  Full of flavor and gosh, 12%.

1/16/2016 3:35:33 PM
No beer for u Kraft, owner of the cheating patriots, do you only have one dress shirt?  u know the blue one with the white collar?  What a dip shit.

1/14/2016 2:38:59 PM
Revolution Brewery Jukebox Hero, a black IPA, is one good pour. Just the right amount of black and a nice hop finish.  Try it, a product of Chicago.

12/7/2015 1:55:59 PM
And i should mention Perpetual IPA is made from many types of hops, Bravo, Chinook, MT, Hood, Nugget, Citra and Cascade.  A wise man said i should attempt to correlate the beers i like to the type of hops.

11/30/2015 2:30:13 PM
Perpetual IPA from Troegs is a nicely balanced beer, 7.5 %, and 85 IBUs.  From Hersey PA, and i have been there, but not recently.

11/24/2015 2:16:54 PM
Latitude 42's #1 seller, is an IPA, named I.P.Eh, get it I P A.  5 types of hop and a very pleasant flavor, with a smooth finish.

11/19/2015 2:18:01 PM
Lagunitas has another hit, from their 2015 One Hitter Series, Born Yesterday Pale Ale.  6.5%, fruity hop flavor, and smooth as a baby's butt.

10/13/2015 2:17:27 PM
This one is dedicated to inneedofapet, Oregon Alley IPA made by the Dayton Beer Company is a refreshing example of the style.  Vibrant and complex - it says so on the can.  8% alcohol and 99 IBU.  So drink up and stay with me.

10/8/2015 2:13:40 PM
Revolution Brewing, Chicago, has a sweet IPA called Anti-Hero.  Goes down so smoothly with a nice hoppy flavor, and not bitter.  Get some!

9/22/2015 3:00:54 PM
For all you Fat Head fans, this one is a classic.  Trail Head Pale Ale is made from four types of hops and is smooth and tasty, from start to finish.  Go Browns.  LOL

9/20/2015 2:54:22 PM
North High Brewing has a lighter, lower alcohol 6.8% IPA which is light in color but not light in taste.  Enjoy!

9/15/2015 2:26:22 PM
Columbus Brewing Company, go Bucks, has a nice IPA out and i had some this weekend and brought a 6'er home.  Unfiltered, a beautiful orange color.  Good stuff!  By the way i just read that Miller Coors is closing one of their 8 breweries, due to declining sales.  And craft beer sales rose to over 10% of total sales in 2014.  Yippee!

9/13/2015 2:23:40 PM
Goose Island, The Ogden a Belgian Triple is very tasty and flavorful.  9% alcohol, low IBUs at 35 so drink it up.

9/10/2015 2:30:47 PM
Long Trail Brewing Company, in VT, makes a really nice Limbo IPA but it has a scary skeleton on the label.  7.6% alcohol and 80 IBUs and very nice cloudy orange color and a great taste.

9/9/2015 3:13:15 PM
A great one from Boulder, Avery Brewing IPA.  Nice, smooth, not to hoppy.  And didn't UC lose to UH last weekend?  Go Warriors!!!1

9/3/2015 2:24:03 PM
Boulevard Brewing of Kansas City , MO, now HO, has some great beers, like the Tower series.  The 80 Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is a nice cross of hop and wheat, and low alcohol so you can drink more than a few.  For the holidays you should try it.

8/30/2015 2:38:12 PM
Ft Collins can be proud of Mercenary Double IPA, a smooth, medium hoped beer, excellent for drinking before, during or after sex.  Well i guess any time.

8/19/2015 3:21:16 PM
If i had only one brewery to drink, Flying Dog (or Toxic locally) would be the choice.  Single hope Columbus Imperial IPA is wonderful, a 10% gem, low hops and great flavor.

8/19/2015 2:44:06 PM
Boulevard Brewing has a new one, Sixth Glass Quadrupel Ale.  Delicious!  Yes, 10.5% alcohol so you can only drink 3 or 4 but yummy.

7/21/2015 2:22:19 PM
Here is a new one, thanks to a friend.  Straight to Ale, Huntsville, AL, the infamous Monkeynaut.  The can alone is worth the price, and the beer is extra tasty too.

7/13/2015 2:59:25 PM
Hop Crisis Imperial IPA, aged on oak spirals, whatever that means.  From San Fransisco, CA, home of bdsm.  Just kidding.  Some darn good beer.

7/12/2015 2:51:58 PM
From Cincinnati, try the Madtree Brewing Company Psychopathy IPA.  Smooth and floral and grass and citrus notes.  No bitter beer for me.  Well, once in a while.  Enjoy!

6/27/2015 9:07:36 AM
i could only buy 2 bottles of Bell's Uranus the Magician, a double black IPA.  Yum yum.  Double black is always good.

6/27/2015 9:01:29 AM
i give Eight Point IPA a 9.5.  Who doesn't like something from Devils Backbone Brewing Company?

6/9/2015 2:58:42 PM
Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA is very yummy.  Medium hoppy and nice fruity fragrance.  And who doesn't like head hunters!!

5/20/2015 2:19:20 PM
i wish it was warmer today cause i found a nice little, light and tasty Session IPA, Lil Sipa, from Rivertown Brewing Company.  i will save a bottle or 2 for the weekend.

4/23/2015 3:09:25 PM
Lagunitas Undercover Investigation Shut Down Ale, YUM!!!!

4/9/2015 9:44:22 AM
Here is one, not an IPA, but yummy.  Sweetwater Happy Ending (i am not making this up) Imperial Stout.  Try it!

4/9/2015 5:12:24 AM
Leiny Grapefruit Shandy very tasty.  And low alcohol so you can drink more.

3/20/2015 1:46:28 PM
I  very nice IPa West Sixth Brewing, from Lexington KY.  From the Bluegrass state, oh wait, i thought KY was not a state but who knows.  Anyway, flavorful, and well balanced.  Very nice!

3/11/2015 3:11:41 PM
While i am on the subject of seasonal beer, how about Sierra Nevada 2015 Beer Camp Hoppy Lager?  Available one time only.  Hop heavy beer , intense citrus and floral hop flavors with clean classic malt of a hearty blonde lager.  So they say!

3/11/2015 2:39:58 PM
OK, this beer is too early in the year.  Dark Horse Rain In Blood Orange Pale Ale would be great on a hot, sunny, sweaty day.  An ale, brewed with blood orange juice, should be drank by the pool or out on the boat.

1/29/2015 4:28:42 PM
Big Swell IPA, a delicious brew from the Maui Brewing Company, Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.  Just the right mouth of hop.

1/27/2015 10:59:37 AM
Going out west for 10 days to do some product testing in the field.  Limited internet but target rich environment.

1/4/2015 2:59:29 PM
Hop Stalker from Fat's Heads is really really good.

12/31/2014 2:31:13 PM
a Black IPA from 21st Amendment, SF, CA, good stuff to start the evening.  HNY!

12/6/2014 4:37:27 PM
Tonight is Fat Heads Head Hunter IPA, not that i am looking to give or receive head, but it is a great beer from up north Ohio by Cleveland.  Keep up the good work!!!

10/31/2014 2:49:56 PM
Coastbuster Imperial IPA by Upland Brewing of Bloomington IN, home of IU, is another winner.  Very tasty.  I would write more but it is Halloween and i need to put on a costume.

10/30/2014 2:25:36 PM
Another Green Flash is a winner.  Not as hot as a pink flash, but Green Flash Double Stout Black Ale is big, bold & complex.  OK, I stole the big, bold & complex from the label but it is true.  8.8% alcohol, 45 IBUs and 12 fluid oz.  Would be great with anything grilled on the barby or with anything spicy.

8/20/2014 3:05:15 PM
Green Flash Brewery West Coast IPA.  Yum!!!! Plus, who doesn't love to flash, even if it is Kermit Green.

7/22/2014 2:51:28 PM
Warped Wing CatFight Saison - a great local beer.  Here is a review:
The CatFight imagery is inspired by the unique addition of Aramis hops throughout the brewing process. The Aramis variety (named after one of the 3 Musketeers) exhibits fine aromas, inherited from the French Strisselspalt line. They have sweet, spicy notes, with hints of citrus and herbs. Aramis the Musketeer was said to have loved women and was portrayed as constantly ambitious and insatiable. Just as you will be after tasting this Saison, with its light and crisp malt flavor with a touch of lemon/citrus flavors and a dry finish. You will lust for more with every sip!

This Saison is hazy, opaque, golden straw in color. The hop aromas are of lemons and mild spices. The malt character is light and crisp with some citrus/lemon notes, mild hop bitterness that has just enough bite to balance the beer, and a very dry finish.

Very very good!

6/9/2014 4:43:08 AM

Kona Brewing Castway IPA - a great beer, not to hoppy and makes me want to go back to the Aloha state.

5/7/2014 4:50:37 AM

And another fine Flying Dog (woof woof) product, Woody Creek, a belgian style white.  Only 4.7% alcohol so you can drink more than a few and work on your tan.

4/23/2014 1:55:04 PM

Several people have asked me about my go to beer brand, all things being equal.  I am happy to report that is it Flying Dog, especially their IPAs.  Drinking one or two just makes my day.

3/8/2014 1:49:54 PM

I am sorry to write a negative beer review but this has been bugging me for a long time and now I have so speak out.  Why?  Cause i am a horny bitch, no, that is not why.  Because I am having a bad period?  No, not that either.  Cause oak barrels should be filled with wine, not beer.  I have had some so so ones, but the one i had today was just so very average.

I will not give you dear reader the name of this one but think about this, are you ready to be the next Amerikan idol?

1/27/2014 4:11:01 AM

New in Ohio, Deschutes Brewery of Bend, OR, my fav the Inversion IPA.  Alcohol content is 6.8%.  And a very heavy hitter, Hercules Double IPA from Great Divide Brewing of Denver, CO.  10% alcohol and 85 IBUs.  Yum!

12/29/2013 3:18:20 PM

New Holland does it again.  Hopivore Harest Ale, so yummy.  Enjoy!

12/27/2013 2:31:42 PM

Ommegang Adoration Dark Winter Ale, some spice and a beautiful flavor in a seasonal.  Yum yum!!

12/22/2013 11:45:19 AM

New Holland Cabin Fever a brown ale, very drinkable.  Pick up a 6 pack today.

7/2/2013 4:49:55 AM

Breckenridge 471 or is it 417  - after a couple of them I can't remember.  But thanks to my old high school friend, who dated by BFF, for downing a couple of them then giving me a ride home.

12/6/2012 4:30:16 AM

Dragon's Milk.  Really.  From New Holland brewery, high gravity series.  Aged in oak barrels.  Roasty, malt, vanilla.  Drink 2 for a buzz (10% alcohol).  I was on my second and realized I was feeling it - and checked the label to find out why.  I will not be operating heavy machinery or big rigs after a couple of these.  Enjoy!

7/29/2012 2:06:52 PM

Ever had or given a Pearl Necklace?  I just drank one, an Oyster Stout from Flying Dog.  You couldn't make up this stuff.  Well, maybe you could.

6/29/2012 9:13:46 AM

Hey!  Another good find - Sneaky Pete.  An Imperial IPA from I'da ho.  No really.  Why is it sneaky?  Could be the 10% alcohol content or the bottle that is shaped like a penis.  Oh, just kidding.  Made you look!

10/20/2011 4:39:33 AM

A shout out to a new beer, Clown Shoes American Black Ale Lubrication, from the state of MA.  Good job people!

6/14/2011 3:45:38 PM

Effective immediately, I will NOT answer any emails asking if I had a good day, or a good weekend, or a good week.  None. Nada.  Or a good month or a good year.  Understand?  Did I spell that right?

12/31/2010 2:11:00 PM

Pre-party Happy Hour.  Red Bull and Mango Vodka ----- yum!  And to all my friends here, Happy New Year!!!

11/9/2010 4:09:22 PM

OK, another idea for you beer-heads, how about this one?  Flying Dog, Raging Bitch, Belgian style India Pale Ale.  Oh, yes!

8/10/2010 3:13:42 PM
I hate when I lost my connection and can't get back in for 5 or 10 minutes.  Boo!!!

4/2/2010 6:11:23 PM
I tried a new beer tonight, by Kona Brewing Company, called Pipeline.  It is a Porter with 100% Kona coffee.  Very tasty!

5/8/2009 4:15:47 PM
OK - so why invite me to chat if you are so shy?  I won't bite you head off.  Really!

4/26/2009 2:16:25 PM
I am drinking a Hoegaarden and eating Parrano cheese.  What does this mean?  Very little but I thought I would share.

4/8/2008 4:50:22 AM
Some of you folks have some interesting ideas, thats for sure.

3/15/2008 1:33:52 PM

I was recently told about this website and I had no idea what it was about.  I appreciate all the emails and if I had been thinking about it, I might not have posted a pic of my butt.  Anyway, thanks to VA guy for telling me about collarme.
