11/13/2016 12:25:19 PM: Master ZAH’s Ideal D/s Situation         1.The Basics           The following is illustration of what, for me, would be the ideal Master/slave(s), overall TPE lifestyle arrangement. Understand this is my ideal and no one else’s. Whether it conforms to what others may conceive of as “real” or “true” D/s is irrelevant in this environment. This is my arrangement for me and mine. It should go without saying that is is all consensual and anyone living this with me and mine does so of their own free will and is equally free to leave anytime they choose. I of course, at all times, abide by the concept of safe, sane and consensual and would never push or drag anyone anywhere they truly felt unable to travel. These things being said, here we go...welcome to the world (or at least the mind) of ZAH.           Firstly, the most basic features of what I seek; a poly, live-in or live nearby (or combination) living arrangement with two or three bi-sexual female, primarily D/s, domestic/pleasure slaves in a long term/permanent TPE family/harem arrangement. As for the slaves themselves….I’m looking for a variety of ethnic types especially African American, Asian American and Latina. However….It is not a strict requirement, however, it is, as stated at the opening of this article, my ideal. The age range I prefer to work with is about 28-60, for a variety of reasons, but of course this is waveable for the right sub/slave. My preference is for one African American, one Asian American and one Latina or Caucasian (other ethnicities are certainly welcome). But we do all have our ideal (and of course, the inside is more important than the outside), but this is what I like. 11/13/2016 11:42:07 AM: 2. What TPE means to me             This a topic to which I have devoted a great deal of thought over the years. I have tried, on more than one occasion, to put those thoughts into words on the printed page but have so far failed to do so.  This is again such an effort.   To begin with, allow me to recap my basic concept of BDSM in general and D/s specifically. I have spoken to many people about this over the years, men and woman, Doms, Dommes, switches, subs and slaves; the collared, the free and the merely curious and one thing has become as clear as crystal to me; there are as many ways of practicing BDSM as there are people engaged in it.            I know we have all heard and sometimes ourselves made statements about the relative “realness” or “fakeness” of how others conduct themselves in regards to the lifestyle. I know I have done it on an occasion or two. But then I remember, there is no world, governing body for BDSM, no sanctioned body with enforcement authority to make clear once and for all what is and is not true BDSM. My feeling is, in fact, that a Dom, who believes himself to be a Dom at all, would hardly continence someone else telling him how to do what it is that he does so uniquely and well on his own.             Yes, I understand there are certain common tenets that run through the life that we all, for the most part, adhere to in order to provide some sort of common ground on which we can all meet and interact.  Protocols of address (Sir, Mistress etc.), rules about poaching others subs/slaves, policies such as RACK and SS&C and so on. Yet, beyond these basic social lubricants, are we not allowed, when alone with our own, to pretty much follow our own instincts? I believe we are and what is more, I believe it is entirely appropriate. These thoughts, therefore, inform my theory of D/s TPE.            First let me say that I believe TPE is exactly what it says, it is a complete exchange of power from the slave to the Dominant. Sexuality, sexual activity, domestic arrangements, clothing, hair, makeup, housing, employment, finances…everything concerning the life of the slave becomes the complete and sole province of the Dominant to direct and control. Once the slave enters into the TPE arrangement, they forfeit any and all decision rights other than those the Dominant bestows upon them at his discretion.   As I practice, once the prospective slave enters the stage of consideration, they are, in essence, under this degree of obligation. However, since at this point, they are only under consideration, some degree of discussion may be allowed, primarily for the sake of clarification. This is the last time, however, the slave is allowed to ask questions from the “why?” perspective. Once the slave receives their first, probationary collar, the only questions allowed (at least about the Dominant’s decisions and instructions) will be in the “how, when, where, who, and what?” veins. Once collared, the slave’s trust in the Dominants judgement is presumed to unquestioning and absolute.            If, however, a slave should find themselves confronted with orders which present them with a serious challenge in compliance, then, of course, they will have to face the Dominant and explain their reticence. This is only advised in extreme cases. There is no guarantee how the Dominant will respond and the slave must accept the possibility that refusal to comply is likely to meet with swift and harsh discipline, if the Dominant feels the refusal is unjustified and/or a violation of the slavery agreement. Discipline can result in anything up to and including summary release from collar.  Of course, if the Dom feels the objection is warranted, he may well relent and allow it. In any case, the Dominants decision is final and at that point, the slave’s only option is to accept or to request release.            As I practice D/s, this degree of control is part and parcel of my concept of the dynamic of the M/s relationship. Unlike traditional, vanilla relationships, or even kinkier, non-lifestyle relationships, my belief is that a true D/s relationship is more than just ”dating” or ”romance”. In my conception, it is more liking entering into an entirely new life, a new set of rules, a new philosophy, much different from anything the slave has experienced before. It is, to my way of thinking, rather more liking entering the military, or a monastic community, or a secret society. Each has their own rules, values, and expectations. Each, to some degree, is a sort of secret order, where much is unknown and un-divulged to the outsider. Each has its hierarchy. It becomes the slave’s new family, their new life, all else that came before begins to fade deeper into memory and from importance. They may still go to work, they may still interact with family, may still function in the greater community. But they’re true community, their true world is now the D/s family unit. It takes precedence. It is not role-play, it is a very serious commitment. Not all are up to it. It takes a special sort willing to walk away, to a degree, from all they had before and to live a new life. Clothing that others see as costumes in kinky sex play become the true wardrobe of the slave, their uniform, their robes…and the clothes of work and the wider world become the costume, the dress of make believe. D/s becomes their true selves, the regular world sees only the cover identity. They will have to move between two worlds, but the real one, the one they most wish to remain in, will be this new one.            The Dominant is the First Sergeant; the Abbott…the slave is the recruit private; the novitiate. His will is all and final, the slave’s action is obedient and absolute. As with soldiers in war, and monastics in God, this is how it must be. If the slave wishes the full value of this life, this is the price. As has been said before, many are called, few are chosen. D/s TPE is for the chosen.            In the process of meeting, getting to know and perhaps in the end, collaring a prospective slave, I follow a 12 step process;       1. Initial contact   2. Casual getting to know you chatting and exchange of initial information through email and IM's.   3. Establishment of consideration status. Exchange of phone numbers for texting.   4. Phone calls   5. Initial meeting in non-threatening social setting.       6. Intimate meetings.   7. Establishment of probationary/prospective status.   8. Ongoing relationship including full range of relationship activities including extended visits.   9. Offering of full collar. Acceptance or refusal.   10. Continued relationship as Master and collared slave.   11. Establishment of TPE.   12. Cohabitation.            Now, these steps do not follow a stringent timeline and at times some steps may seem to bleed into each other….especially the first three or four. However and nevertheless...the steps themselves will be followed absolutely except in cases where prospective slaves are met at first in real life and then the online steps may be omitted or modified to some extent. As I said, there is no rigid time line, it may take a few weeks to a few months, or upto a year for step 12 to be reached. This will be determined by distance, availability, slave performance, finances, family and employment obligations and other factors that may speed up or slow down the process. This is why patience is of such importance in a slave. Frankly, I am very leery of slaves who within days of meeting online start talking about how soon they can relocate. DO NOT BE IN A HURRY. You may avoid a very big mistake in your life. I will not consider relocating someone until I am absolutely sure they are right for that move and frankly, no sub or slave should relocate quickly for the same reason...you may find yourself making a great mistake that you will regret and from which you just may not be able to extricate yourself from.            And while I’m at it, along the lines of rapid relocation, I understand that many people have made bad life choices, have made muddles of their relationships, can’t hold jobs, mismanage money, wish to sponge off others or are simply too lazy to support themselves. It is my belief than many if not nearly all attempts at rapid relocation are the result of some combination of these factors. Stable, self-sufficient careful people like to take their time so as avoid screwing themselves over with hasty decisions. Understand...no slave is my responsibility in this regard until I offer them a collar. However badly someone may have screwed up their life before meeting me...it is not up to me to clean it up for you. I expect mine to accept responsibility, fix their mistakes and move forward. Therefore, I’m not sending any money to “buy” you from your current Dom/me or pay release fees or training costs, or pay off the last phone bill, or to get you uncle’s inheritance released to you or any of the other nonsense that’s been run at me. Nor, with reasonable exceptions, will I send plane or bus fare or gas money that will be “reimbursed” once the slave gets here. It is the slave’s responsibility to get to the Master. After that, Master begins to help take care of these things.  Even if one is collared, I still expect them to work and contribute and be responsible. I’m not offering a free room and board in exchange for sex. Anyone looking for that should start looking elsewhere. As I said, this is like a monastic arrangement. No individual rides for free.

11/13/2016 11:24:03 AM: 3. What Master Provides             Well, now you’ve seen what the big, mean, selfish Dom expects from his. Now we can look at what ZAH offers in return.             First and foremost, you will always get the truth. I may decide that something is not the slave’s business but I won’t lie to them. If I have decided, (in my Dom-ly wisdom) that the owned doesn’t need to know the answer to her query, I will simply tell her so. If I decline to provide a certain bit of information, you can be sure it is for a good reason, most often involving the privacy or the dignity of someone else. Just as I would not reveal the private tidbits about my currents, I will not divulge personal matters of previously owned or trained subs/slaves. I will also not reveal matters that might tend to embarrass or compromise family members and I would also offer the same protection to family members of the formerly and currently owned.             Secondly, and in conjunction with the above, I will offer an emotionally and physically safe and nurturing environment for the owned.  While there may be lifestyle related humiliation and verbal abuse as part of the training program, so treatment form any outsider will be tolerated. It’s sort of like in the movie “Animal House”; “Hey, he can’t treat our pledges like that. Only we can treat them like that!” I don’t mean to sound flip about it. In my ideal situation, mine will seek humiliation form the Dom. But that would be strictly lifestyle-oriented. No genuine abuse from outsiders will be tolerated. And no matter how bad the world treats you…you will always find comfort in the polyamorous family unit.             As a slave of Master, you will be offered the opportunity and in most cases be required to work outside of the house. This is required to both provide outlet for the slaves needs in this area, (especially for those who are career oriented) and also allows the slave to contribute to the household finances.  It may be only part time, but pretty much everyone (including the Master) is usually required to work, even if it is from home.             The slave is allowed to maintain friendships as long as they do not interfere with the slaves duties to the family unit. Of course family ties will be maintained, unless of course, the slave wishes such ties to be severed. In that case, the slave will be as insulated from former family ties as is possible.             Hobbies will be encouraged and allowed, especially those which might serve the family, such as sewing, cooking, leather working and the like. Along these lines, the owned will be encouraged and at least on a minimal scale, required, to engage in physical/athletic activities such as yoga, pilates, running, jogging, weightlifting, cycling and any other activity which helps the owned maintain health and fitness.             Of course ZAH will offer thorough, comprehensive training in exactly the proper method of serving him. In addition, he will also teach the owned about he’s ideas of D/s in particular and life in general. He will provide emotional comfort, guidance and direction as needed. He serves as sort of the abbot to the monastery that is the family unit and makes himself available to help see the slave through troubled times as well as the good ones.             ZAH will, in the end, within the D/s family unit provide, direction, training, comfort, support, passion, discipline, room for growth and an overall loving and structured environment for the slaves development.             Lastly, remember, ZAH is firm but fair; strict but caring.
