Let Me start off by stating that I am a real person, searching for a real relationship. I have no patience for time wasters, brats, or fakes. I don't recommend testing Me on that. you have one chance to make a good impression, think carefully before you proceed. I don't give second chances. you also must be in the Houston area or within reasonable traveling distance. Long distance relationships hold no interest for Me.
I'm a dominant woman who has been active in D/s most of My adult life. That said, I'm not looking for a boy toy, or a 24/7 slave, but a long-term relationship with a good balance of vanilla and D/s. Ideally, that translates to 80% vanilla and 20% BDSM with a constant undercurrent of D/s even during vanilla activities. I'm searching for a "knight in shining chastity device" who lives to serve his Queen in everyday life. Someone who is mature, grounded, with a sense of humor, is naturally submissive, who's a bit of a nerd and just a little left of center. I love to be adored and pampered, treated like a Queen by a man who is willing to slay dragons to give Me what I want. If this essay intrigues you and orgasm control and periods of chastity make you a better man and dedicated submissive partner, then I'd love to hear from you.

I'm a voracious reader. I sometimes read two to three books in a week. I keep at least 100 books in my kindle so I have something to read with me at all times, but I prefer a book bound in paper to the electronic variety. I love the smell of the ink and the feel of the paper in my hands. Favorite authors at the moment: Jim Butcher, Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, Thea Harrison, Nalini Singh and Eileen Wilkes.

I love movies. For me a film doesn't have to brilliant or profound as long as it's entertaining. My current top five:

1. Dead Pool
2. Fifth Element
3. Hot Fuzz
4. Pride & Prejudice (6 hr. BBC version)
5. Zombieland

I love alternative music. Everything from old-school punk and new wave (think Clash, Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, The Damned, The Stranglers) to more current (Mumford & Sons, The Levellers, Editors, The Bravery, Kaiser Chiefs). I could go on for hours.

I am extremely particular about food. I judge a good restaurant by whether or not it can make a decent cheese plate.

The six things I could never do without: 1. Books
2. Music
3. Internet
4. Netflix
5. Friends
6. Chocolate

The order reveals a lot about my personality.
I spend a lot of time thinking about anything and everything. I find so many things fascinate me that my mind is constantly jumping from one thing to another. Everything from quantum mechanics to what makes an interesting literary character.
On a typical Friday night I am usually decompressing after a long week. I prefer small groups of friends over large boisterous crowds and tend to avoid bustling public places on weekends. Instead, I curl up with a good book and cup of tea. During the week I often meet friends for trivia, dinner and movies.
you should message me if any of the above intrigues you and you can follow the Rules of Engagement listed below. Remember boys, interested is interesting. Be engaged, ask questions. Submissive doesn't mean passive and passive is boring as hell.

Rules of Engagement:

1. Introduce yourself properly. Don't begin a message as if we're in the middle of a conversation. It doesn't work in person and it certainly doesn't work here.

2. Be articulate. Check not only your spelling and grammar, but also what you have to say. This is your one chance to make yourself stand out above all others, make it count.

3. Have a photo, period. And it better be one that shows your face and not your naked butt. I don't want excuses like "I don't have one uploaded, yet." In this day and age, you should. If you don't, don't bother contacting Me.

4. No Doms. I'm tired of getting messages from Doms who would "like to be dominated by the right woman". Oh please, it's just tedious. The right sub for Me knows exactly who and what he is and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

5. NO NOVELS. Be succinct. There is nothing more off-putting than being given 20 paragraphs to read when all I want is a few pertinent facts that hopefully show some insight into your personality.

6. Finally, have a sense of humor. Nothing is more attractive to Me than an articulate, intelligent man who can make Me laugh.
