I am a 52-year-old dominant man that became deeply interested in BDSM when I was about 10-years-old, after finding my fathers collection of bondage and SM magazines. To paraphrase Eric Cartman, those magazines warped my fragile little mind. I found it difficult to pursue BDSM relationships at that age. But since getting my first computer in the 1990s and discovering the online BDSM community, all my romantic relationships have been with submissive women. However, it has been nearly a decade since Ive had a romantic relationship.

I was involved in an automobile accident nearly 10 years ago that left me unable to work because of a back injury. I ended up moving in with my mother while pursuing disability and a lawsuit over the accident. The City of New York argued the accident had been my fault, but since I had been stopped at a red light when rear ended by the garbage truck, I disagreed. They eventually settled but they did drag the whole process out. As an unemployed middle aged man living in his mothers basement (technically it was the 1st floor), I felt that if I tried to date Id be too close to the cliche of the online Dom. After I began receiving disability and had settled my lawsuit, I could afford to get my own place again. But my mothers health had deteriorated and she really needed me to stay to take care of her. But she passed away last September.

I once again have my own place, something I am enjoying quite a bit. But it would be nice to find someone with whom to share my life. Actually, it would be nice to just have a social life again. I want to be clear that I do still have health problems. My back problems cause me to often use a cane or sometimes a rollating walker. I also have sexual dysfunction as a complication from diabetes. On the plus side, I do have a lot of spare time.

I have never been married, but came close a couple of times. I have no children, but I am a proud uncle. I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 nieces and a nephew. As far as my interests, I have always been deeply interested in politics. But as a Republican that despises Donald Trump, I find politics more depressing than interesting these days. I would describe myself as a libertarian leaning conservative. I am a recovering lawyer. I stopped practicing law nearly 20 years ago and became a high school social studies teacher. I am also interested in science and technology. I am not a gamer (unless you count spider solitaire) but I did build my own computer. I may also have a secret masochistic streak since I am a Mets fan.

While I have a sadistic side, I am primarily a warm loving man. You can think of me as a big teddy bear that sometimes likes to bite. As far as a Ds relationship, I believe it is up to the Dominant to clearly express his expectations and then to do his best to help his submissive meet those expectations. It is not a womans place to be submissive because she is a woman. It will only be her place to be submissive if she chooses to be submissive and enters into an agreement. The extent of that submission and any limits or safewords need to be negotiated and understood in advance. Whether a relationship is based on the principle of Safe, Sane, and Consensual (SSC) or Risk Aware Consensual Kink (RACK) what is most important is the fully ined consent of adults.
