It has been pointed out to me, and rightly so that a profile should be more about who you are and less about what you are not looking for, or even looking for for that matter. With that in mind, this will become a work in progress as i try to hash out just who i am, first as a person, second as a submissiveslave.
i have been many things in my life friend, teacher, musician (currently learning to play the ukulele), waiter, semi-librarian, customer service agent, a son but never a father (no kids), briefly a husband. i made mistakes, and hopefully learned from them, but i tried to be a good husband, maid, cook, dog and cat owner (currently have one dog, Max, he keeps me sane, and two cats who tolerate me and one for 15 years i have called my Dominatrix, as cats can be quite demanding when they want to be), student, always, because i learned early from a wise man that you never stop learning and when you do, that is when you truly die. In short, i have worn many hats, and all of them seem to fit at that particular time in my life.
i tend to be a bit stubborn, but it is something that i try very hard to work on, and like all humans i even have a selfish streak in me, though on that i have improved much over the years, as i get older, being selfish seems silly. The point is, i know my faults and i am trying my best to work on them which is all we can ask of any human.
i enjoy many things in life. my first love was History, my second, reading. Nothing quite compares to the feel of a thick well-written book held in the hands and simply getting lost in a well-crafted fantasy world. When the book is good i can get lost in it to the point where the real world disappears until i close the pages of the book. i love movies, because they are quick escape from reality and can be quite entertaining though the current lack of creativity in Hollywood is depressing.
Music is also a love of mine, from the first time i sat at my Grandfathers knee and listened to him play his fiddle. Country, Jazz, Big Band, Fold music, some light rock, i like a little of everything. my taste can be described as eclectic. thought most of what has been written post-1975 is not my favorite. i have been told i was born out of time in a musical sense. Also love musical theater. One dream of mine is to go to a play on Broadway one day.
i can appreciate art, though i cannot claim to understand much of it.
i tend to be a centrist politically. my main concern there is the deplorable lack of any ability or willingness to compromise anymore. Its all about destroying the other side now rather than really getting things done.
On a personal level, i can be a very loyal friend. To me the bond of friendship is a sacred trust. You are there for that person in the best of times and the worst of times. Honesty in friendship, and all relationships is a quality of paramount importance. Sometimes even if it hurts the other person, but that person should know that you are there for them even then.
So, what do i want? what do i seek? That is very much a work in progress.

2/20/2018 10:08:03 PM: No, I am not interested in spoiling anyone. Spoiled children tend to annoy me. They really just need to be placed in a time out and have all their privileges taken away. Better yet - receive a spanking. Personally, I am looking for someone who is more mature. Someone who is actually an adult. Someone who understands that true dominance is not found in a wallet, but in the heart, that true submission is not found in the surrendering of a bank account or the receiving of gifts, but in the submissive's heart, and in his submission, she receives the purest of gifts. Does that mean gifts should never be given to one's Domme? Of course not. But gifts should be given from the heart, not from submission. I am not talking about Pro-Dommes. Those who provide a true, tangible service are simply doing honest work, honing a craft, and offering that service and craft for a fee. I have no issue with that. Nor do I have an issue with those very, very few online pro's is what I will call them, as I refuse to use the term associated with the one's who are basically out begging for handouts. If they offer a true, tangible service that is credible - then I have no issue with that. However, those of you that offer that true, tangible service are brought down by the vast superior numbers of those who are just con artists and thieves. Thus endeth my little rant. I will now go to bed.

What was it like entering professional work at 15? What were Your rates? Come on people, elementary math here. I am fine with you lying about Your age, but don't say You have years and years of experience if it means you started as a child.
