I am an educated, sane, professional, discreet man in DC, with a good sense of humor.  I'm relatively easy going, but have my own moments of intensity depending on my mood at the time.  I'm submissive, but only towards the right woman.

I've had my share of vanilla relationships.  I always thought that I could have a fulfilling relationship even without being open about my submissive side.  I've come to realize, though, that this is something that is important to a long term relationship for me.

I am looking for an outwardly normal, successful, intelligent woman who is dominant, and who understands and appreciates my submissive side.  I am looking for a long term, full time slave situation - although I can be strong and protective when needed.  I am looking for a relationship where we do what other couples do, get along as other couples do, but privately we both know that she owns me, and privately that is a significant part of our relationship.

In my mind, submissiveness does not mean abuse.  It is more a concept of chivalry, with the woman on a pedestal.  I do not want to be simply a doormat, I want to be submissive to her in a way that is strong, empowering, and mutually satisfying.

Outside of this aspect of life, I can be outgoing , gregarious, and fun; though I tend to be more introspective at times.  I am professional, and emotionally and financially secure.

I am not necessarily looking for anyone who has considered herself Domme before, although if you are on this site the thought has probably at least crossed your mind.

A sense of humor, intelligence, and creativity are all absolute musts.  I'd like to be able to talk about things other than whips and chains.  I tend to gravitate towards "A" type personalities and extroverted women, but certainly would say that is a requirement.

I am also not looking to be simply a mindless, obedient drone.  I have my own opinions and need the space to cater to her and put her on a pedestal, but also to be a functioning and contributing part of a relationship.
