Dog sitting is so enjoyable.
i thoroughly enjoy cleaning up all the pieces of foam and stuffing from inside the leather couch that the dog tore apart.
i really enjoy listening to the insistent whining at 5:30 AM dragging me out of bed, not because the dog needs to go outside and pee, but because she has decided she was ready for breakfast.
i definitely enjoy walking a half mile in the rain to the little park because she has decided she won't go the bathroom in my backyard.

i am happy to see all of the new findoms popping up, especially those looking to "control your finances". This really excites me, because with the new tax codes for 2018, i am not sure whether i should file a 1040A or a 1040EZ. Should i changing my withholdings on my W-4 at work? Should i continue to attempt to maximize my 401K contributions, or would it be more beneficial to shift retirement savings to an IRA? |

i was not prepared for the intensity of today's rain at times. By the time i got to my car after the 1/2 mile walk from the office, i was soaked from the bottom hem of my jacket to my toes. So i did what anyone else would do, i stripped down and drove home in only my underwear.
my neighbors may have gotten a free show when i got home and had to unlock the front door. |

This didn't work out so well. Decided it was a good idea to take my bicycle out for a ride after work. If only there was some sort of app right on the home screen of my phone that could tell me of impending storms....

For the first time in almost 20 years, i got a snow day. Waking up to see a message that the office is closed today due to the weather was a pleasant surprise. Back to bed for a bit i guess.
Noon update: i learned a new lesson today. i believe it is a requirement of all plow operators that they be sadists. Spent an hour clearing the end of the driveway and an extra spot at the curb, only to still be standing there as the plow operator pushed all the snow from the neighbors house into my freshly cleared area. And then he smiled and waved at me. Asshole. |

Ok folks, once again i have found my self compelled to write a criticism here.
To all of the Doms and Dommes here, the word is "serve". 5 letters, seems pretty simple to me. However, it seems a lot of folks are looking for submissives willing to "sever". Sever what, i have no idea, but i am pretty sure that the number of subs willing to sever anything is really rather low. |

I have seen this in numerous profiles, and it always makes me laugh:
"I have been naturally dominating since ...." usually followed by some young age. What the hell does that even mean?
Do you not use pesticides or preservatives in your domination?
"When I am sweet, I only use pure sugar, no Sweet n Low or high fructose corn syrup here."

i am not quite sure what i think of the "tribute first" type Dommes here. i have always considered these relationships as based upon control, the submissive cedes it and the Dominant takes it. But if i have "tributed" (or paid), then don't i really have control in what happens in the relationship? Doesn't the Dominant cede control back to the submissive by taking payment?
As for the argument that the Dominant's time is valuable, and therefore they should be reimbursed (which i have seen on numerous profiles), my only question is this: Isn't the submissive's time equally valuable? |

The more profiles i read, the sadder i become about the state of the educational system and the ever increasing decay of the written English language. It is becoming harder and harder to bite my tongue as i come across more and more of these awfully written profiles. You want me to take You and Your profile seriously, how about using some decent sentence structure. i am not asking for much, just simple things like a period or a comma to indicate where a thought has concluded. How about some subject-verb agreement, is that too much to ask? i am not expecting Your profile to be Shakespeare or Tolstoy, but is Dr. Seuss asking for too much? |

Well, this is going to make me sound like a terrible sub, but there is something that i see on here so often and it just drives me nuts. Too many people here have no idea how to use the various grammatical forms of the word "dominance".
"I am a dominate..." - sorry, no you are not.
"I enjoy to dominant men..." - pretty sure that isn't the case either.
Dominant (adjective) -having primary control, authority, or influence; governing; ruling
"She was the dominant one in the relationship."
Dominate (verb) - to rule over; govern; control
"She was always able to dominate those around her."
In a relationship largely based on trust, i find it difficult to trust that a Dominant is capable when that person is unsure about what they are, and lacks the ability to communicate it clearly and concisely. Maybe its just me holding a Dom/me to a higher pedestal, but isn't that what they demand anyway? |
