Every great journey has a starting point, and hopefully this site will provide me with just that. I am completely new to the lifestyle, I have no practical experience, and I am still learning what specific things interest me. None the less I have no way of learning the answers to so many of my questions just by sitting and thinking on my own. The overarching question on my mind is a simple one, but undoubtedly has a complex answer: How does it work? I would like to meet and get to know people who already live the lifestyle of a dominant male and for that matter those who are submissive females as well. It is from your experiences and stories that I hope to learn from. There is a fair amount of practical knowledge for new dominants out there already but that is no substitute to interactions with those who are active and experienced. I love to talk, to discuss, to learn and I very much hope I can find some people here who enjoy those things as well. I want to explore my thoughts and hopefully focus them well enough to get me on the path where I am ready to take on my first D/s relationship in a constructive and positive way. The desire to be in a D/s relationship has been growing for a long time within me and with the end of a vanilla relationship a few months ago I feel that this is the perfect opportunity to take charge of my desire and bring it to fruition. The idea behind a power exchange fascinates me, especially the amazing trust that seems to be required for such a thing to work and it is by far the first and foremost thing I desire to explore. Though I am no Marquis De Sade the idea of causing pain interests me greatly as well and is yet another thing I hope to explore. There is so much more I could say, and perhaps I will update this with more in the future but in the mean time I hope some out there find this and decide they want to talk to me about their experiences.
