What makes us human? Are we so different from everything else? Is there anything inside us that makes us truly unique? Is it the ability to feel love? Is it the ability to feel pain? Is it the ability to feel hope? Is it the ability to make our own choices, accepting our own mistakes? Am I who I am because I chose to be? Or am I just a simple combination of random events? Would you still be the same person if you had not lived your life exactly as you did? Has every minor element of your life helped to shape who you are today? Do we have enough control to design the person we want to be? What is it that makes us chose? What makes you change? What makes you human? You compare. Humans are creatures of comparison. Consistently decided whether things are good or bad or better or worse then other things. Eventually we make so many comparison that our overloaded brains will accept anything. Good or bad, right or wrong, not caring which is which. Did you know that the word "person" comes from the Latin word "persona", which means mask? So maybe being human means we invite spectators to ponder what lies behind. Each of us will be composed of a variety of masks, and if we can see behind the mask, we would get a burst of clarity. And if that flame was bright enough, that's when we fall in love. Words of inspiration from various things in my life. So I'm not good at typing these things up. Never quite sure what to say. I'm always changing, always growing. Becoming the person who I want, the person I'm suppose to be. In some sense I'm already there, but you never stop moving. Nothing in life stays static, you either go forward or backwards. Whether you realize which way your going or not, you are still going. So I'm pretty much looking for someone who can flow and ebb with me. Whether it be friends or that someone special. Someone to like me for me. Because with the tables turned, that is why I'm around. A person's looks or bank account can all be lost in a second. When that happens, what do you got? The answer is simply, YOU. So I guess you can say I'm complex in one hand and simple in another. Personally, I don't think it really matters.
