| I'm looking for a new sub, or slave, as well as being interested in a poly group, and in making friends. The profiling proforma is rather specific to Americans, isn't it ? (I'm in south-east Wales) and doesn't really help to explain or describe or expand on the detail of interests - in the set categories of music, literature. (poetry ?) professional qualifications, diversionary interests, - just " liking gardening" can cover so many kinds of approaches, - to help outline our personalities.
My working life gives an insight into my mix and breadth of interests - Until very recently I was an outdoor worker , a Countryside Warden, which called for an academic Master's degree for the legal and procedural side of land and wildlife protection, mitigation work and management , and involved advisng formal meetings, builders and businesses, teaching all ages outdoors and in classrooms, doing practical building and outdoor carpentry work out of the back of the Land Rover to make paths walkable across bogs and streams and other unpromising conditions, creating and/or securing wildlife habitats from- or promoting them towards - change, and other outdoor work with chainsaws , or billhooks and the like - After being promoted I'm now supervising some of it from an office, and have no more time for the part-time college lecturing in related and some quite different topics.
