BDSM is a craft, practiced by many, truly mastered by none. Being a Master/Dom and/or Slave/Sub is a skill, one that always can be improved upon. In truth if you have stopped learning,experimenting, growing in your chosen set then you are limiting not only yourself but your partner as well. I feel that many have forgotten this, falling into lazy ruts. This is a disrespect to the craft, to this beautiful art that can take us to our fuller selves. BDSM has gone mainstream, more popular than ever but I feel as though this does it such a disservice. By being more in the public eye we are getting so many who want an experience just like 50 shades or the like, but few who truly wish to learn. This saddens me greatly..... random thoughts from my mind today, though I am fairly new to the art myself, I give it the Respect it deserves. Life is short, do nothing half heartedly |
