9/17/2014 3:13:12 AM: Something I found and it sounds so much like my own thoughts that I had to borrow it !!  “What I expect from my submissive.” As a Dominant and Master, I have expectations of my submissive. These are solely my own personal views and are not to be construed in any way as anything other than my own personal views. 1. Talk to me. Tell me what is going on with you. Tell me what it is I am doing right or wrong in our relationship. Always keep the lines of communication open. 2. Never be afraid to speak to me. I will never put you off and will address any issues you bring up as soon as you bring them to my attention. Even if it is only to set up a mutually agreeable time when we can talk, it will make it known to me that there are issues to be addressed. And it if is really urgent, then tell me so and we will in fact address it immediately. 3. If you are having problems, whether between us or in your daily life, bring them to me. There is no issue too large or too small that you cannot bring to me. Part of my duty is to help you wherever possible. Even if all I can do is listen to what you have to say, you will always have an ear and shoulder to support you. Being your Master, I have a responsibility toward you. 4. If you are sick or having physical issues, do not fight me when I am trying to help you. If you need to go to the doctor and I tell you to do so, do not tell me you are “fine” and will be alright. Again, I have a responsibility toward you. More than that, I cannot help but love you and wish you to be well. I would rather be wrong and thought paranoid than be right and not have been listened to. You can complain later. 5. Do not hesitate to tell me of the new shiny you want to try. I will always be open to what makes you happy. If I think it is dangerous, we will discuss it. If I am not capable of providing what it is you want to experience, I will find an expert and I will stand right by you as you try it. If I deem it too dangerous, then we will find an alternate shiny for you. 6. I want you to grow. I want you to become the best person you can be. My goal is to guide you, not to hinder you or keep you repressed. The more you know the stronger person you become, the more challenging you will be to me. And I seek that of you. I need you to challenge me, so I can grow. So, being bratty is also encouraged, as long as it is intelligent brattiness! 7. If there is something missing in our dynamic, tell me. I don’t have all the answers and I am learning each and every day. Discuss with me what your needs are as we evolve and grow together. I know things will change. Any healthy relationship is a dynamic one. Don’t let things go stale just because you are afraid to talk to me about something you wish to change. 8. Never fear me. Never be afraid to talk to me about anything. No matter how we play, there will never be negative repercussions just because you brought something up to discuss. 9. Never be afraid to come to me for comfort, affection or love. You are my submissive, I love you. I am just wired that way. Dynamic not withstanding, we are friends and lovers first and foremost. I will never turn you away. I will support you in any way I can.
