A Veteran is someone who at one point in their life wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America (and our allies) for an amount up to and including, their life. Interestingly, this one learned something today about itself as it read the profile of a sender of a message it received: compersion (not compression mind You), is “The feeling of joy one has experiencing another's joy,” which is exactly what a service submissive like me experiences as it pleases the One it serves! Who know? This one knew the joy, but wasn aware of the name, for which it is most grateful.
