After a year of highs and lows, both spectacular and life changing in scale I am at an impass. I'm going to learn to life happily alone again for a couple of years at least. I'm travelling where I can, learning new languages and skills, building a house from the ground up near the water and living in the US for a little while starting a business there. I'm doing the things I'd been denying myself in vain so that I may build a life with someone here, which I'd been searching for now for over 14 years in January 2014.

I might seem a little loopy being so happy alone when I pick up the pieces but I've always been someone who enjoys his own company, that's the key in life. It's short, wonderful at times, and equally painful at times, although through it all you have to be happy with the one person who's always there, you.

You're one in a million. You must be the only woman I've ever met who understands what I've felt in the scene.
