| Hello I have always been interested in history and do believe the 40's and 50's type lifestyle was the best. Where the father was the family bread winner and the wife would be at home in her dress keeping the house clean and cooking meals for the family. Where she would know that the husband was the head of the house and what he said would be the rule. Where the wife knew that if she did not do something the head of the house stated that she would be visiting the wood shed, basement or there own bedroom for corrective measures. She also knew that he loved, cared for her and cherished her and was doing this for her own good and to teach her how to be a better person in life.
