Despite all the unfair pressures of social norms, i have come to accept that i respond very well to a naturally Dominant Woman who does not need to be bossy and demanding in order to be the relationship leader. Ultimately, i am looking for a mutually satisfying relationship that embraces that part of me that is innately submissive and completes it with Your own instinct to lead the man in Your life. You dont need to apologize for being a strong and confident Woman, and i dont need to apologize for desiring a Woman who does not need a controlling man in her life. Thats just the way that we are wired.

i have not been involved with play and would prefer to wait for the one Woman who is seriously interested in growing a long term relationship. Compatibility beyond the constant undertone of a Female led relationship is important to me because Ds is not a switch that i turn on and off. Whether we are interacting with each others families, friends or coworkers, our chemistry will leave people wondering how two people could be so happy together.

You are a good match for me if you like to laugh and enjoy the fun things in life. The only time that i instinctively take the lead is on the ballroom dance floor, but that is more like escorting You through the dance and not really leading.

The basic facts of life that you may need in order to influence Your decision to pursue me include i have been single again for 14 years with one adult child and no divorce drama. At 6 feet tall, i am height weight proportional with a full head of salt-and-pepper hair. The active lifestyle that i love precludes me from getting involved with someone that is not in reasonable shape or trying to get there.

Stereotypes elude me because i am not a wimpy, weak or needy man, and my leadership role in the workplace and society are different then my intimate desires in a relationship. Lets enjoy life.

Despite the cold New England weather, the January thaw has been a great relief.  Let's go spring time!

Slowly adjusting to the early darkness at 5:00 PM.  What happened to those glorious sunsets at 8:30 PM after a long day of activities?

Bought some juice at the market today and my heart sank when i noticed that the expiration date was in October!  What happened to the summer?  The Fall in New England is phenomenal and i love the change of seasons, but i am not ready to hang up my bicycle and get out the hiking boots.  Before you know it, it will be time to wax up the cross country skis.  Yikes!  All those in favor of extending summer another month say, "I(i)."

Harvested my first cucumber of the year!  No pun intended.  And the tomatoes are right behind.  i plan to pick the first zucchini  on Saturday so i can make some delicious and healthy zucchini fritters!  Yum!

Rabbits be gone!  The garden took a big hit from the furry creatures, but i have re-doubled my efforts to fence off the garden and protect the crop.  In the meantime, the tomatoes are starting to flower so i am good unless the rabbits learn to use ladders!

Everything i have to plant is in the ground and ready to grow. The cruel New England weather has thrown some rain and cold temperatures in the month of June so time will tell on the Harvest.

Enjoying another unexpected day off because a late season snow storm has hit the area.  Apart from the powerful winds, it really is a beautiful event.  As a bonus, i will get a few more days of snow shoeing and cross country skiing!  Oh, and shoveling..... lots of shoveling!  Be safe!

International Women's Day?  i thought every day was a day to celebrate Women and their many accomplishments.  You know, things like giving birth to human life and having the nurturing instinct to care for others and protect those under their charge.

It was nice to head north for the weekend to enjoy some of the beautiful New England landscape in winter.  i was hoping to do some cross country skiing since Massachusetts has been deprived of snow so far, but the trails were icy and bleak.  The weather was favorable to snow shoe, so i did clock some miles through the woods and thoroughly enjoyed myself!

I live close enough to a military base, that on the weekends, I can hear the Army National Guard practicing on the rifle range. While visiting with a neighbor some time ago, I complained about the noise and asked if it bothered him. He replied with a kind smile and said, “While you may hear the sharp report of gunfire, as a veteran, I hear the sound of freedom.” My sincere thanks to veterans everywhere for the honor of your service.

i will be so happy when this election is over and final. As a submissive man, the whole thing has been very disturbing and i just want it to end. It is deeply ingrained within me to be a pleaser and to work hard to make the people in my life happy and to help them reach thier potential. But this national campaign has been so hateful and angry and it makes me feel like no one is going to be happy ever again. It is hard to explain, but at a certain level, being submissive carries the burden of vulnerability and exposes me to the reality that i need that strong Woman in my life to let me know that everything is going to be okay as long as i obey Her. That's a happy place for me!

Happy Autumn! Here in New England, the Fall season just toughens you up for winter! So my weekends include raking the leaves, storing the boats, taking out the air conditioners and stacking fire wood. Then, when your muscles just reach peak from all the Autumn chores, the snow flies and you get out the shovel!

Season changes in New England are a special part of life. i wish everyone could experience the beauty!

Time to take the last harvest of tomatoes and turn them into paste for winter soups and sauces!

A friend let me borrow a dehydrator to cure the cherry tomatoes for winter. I also put some on the grill with olive oil and reduced them to a chewy texture that stays well in the freezer. My only problem is not eating them all before they get into the freezer! Yummy! So far, so good! Someone also gave me a recipe to ferment the pickles, but that is still in the experimental stages.

Bumper crop of cherry tomatoes in the garden this year and the cucumbers and butternut squash are going strong! It is amazing how many pounds of produce can be grown in a couple of raised beds. i have been researching how to ferment the cucumbers and can the tomatoes so i can push the crop into winter. Favorite recipes and canning advice is always welcomed!

My intended nickname was truncated because it was too long. It was supposed to be happyFhappyLhappyR because i could be happy, happy, happy in a Female Led Relationship. It seemed clever at the time, but, it's just more proof that, yeah, this guy needs a Woman in his life to help with his personal decisions. No, i am not looking for a mother figure to tell me what to do. I already have a mother, and i figure that one is enough! Although I grew up in a matriarchal family, and i learned to respect women wth the highest regard from the earliest age, my desire is for a partnership that is mutually beneficial and satisfying.
