I got a very interesting message from gal on here yesterday. I found said email to have a couple valid points, and I was impressed enough by the intelligence of the person who sent said message that I decided to share some exceprts

"You're looking for female subs who want to share in B/D fun.. however you're not looking for a relationship (which you'd share with anybody you met whether to some degree or other).. or friends with benefits (you don't want a serious relationship so you want a friend to share D/s without benefit?) That doesn't make any sense."

And she goes on a little further....

"So you've met some girls, and tied them up. You thought enough of them to begin with to "subsequently" tie them up in the first place - yet they bore you. Then you say you want some quality female friends.. who will go along with your ideas.. but.. I will tell you that if you're bored.. you're probably just boring. If you're not finding fulfillment in the interactions you're perpetrating.. then you're doing something terribly wrong.

Your profile gives me a headache. I'm sure it gives other girls' headaches too. I don't think you know what you want.. and if you do... you're being elusive about it. You sound like a first class asshole - and I thought I'd give you the heads up."

I'm not going to say what is right and wrong, because I'm not one to judge. How I live my life is my decision, and if others wish to come over and spend some time with me that's fine. So allow me to present my rebuttal.

I wasn't expecting a dissertation-quality analysis of my profile. So to begin with, thank you. Based on what you have said, you may be better off presenting yourself as a dom rather than a sub.

Now, so as to not be 'elusive', I'll be honest and tell you what I do and do not want. Sex doesn't do a whole lot for me. I can hear you rolling your eyes from here, and I don't care if you believe me or not.

I do know what I want and what I like. I like restraints, mostly steel and leather. I don't use rope or silk scarves or anything that can be defeated with a pair of scissors or a knife. I like the power that comes with using something that cannot be easily escaped. I like to use said items on women. It's not a cardinal sin to simply want to play around with someone, and doing so certainly doesn't qualify as a relationship, at least not in my book.

You have called me boring, which like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I have plenty of hobbies, some of which you may find boring and some you may not. I like flying, real airplanes and model airplanes alike. I like working on cars most of the time, and at work they call me MacGyver because I can fix anything. I'm not handsome, so I make up for it by being handy. But when you get down to it, in this case who cares? I mean, if I'm such an asshole, and my profile gives you such a headache, then why are you sending me a long message to decry the way I have presented my profile? Who the hell are you to judge me, anyway? I don't even know you, and yet you have the nerve to tell me I'm essentially 'doing it all wrong'?? Just remember that while you're pointing the finger at my faults you've got 3 fingers pointed right back at yourself.
