More than anything else, I am an academic. The quickest way to get me talking is to offer up some thought-provoking topic and suddenly I have a page of text written. This is not to say that I'm always stuck in my own head - quite the contrary - my reason for being here is to find people with whom I can have visceral experiences that are captivating and pleasurable.
