My attitude towards life is very European . I believe most people are obsess too much over work and careers. When work dominates one's life, I think that is not healthy. These things are important to be sure, but I think it is much more important to take the time out to enjoy life and spend time with friends and family.
What captures my attention most in a man is someone who is kind-hearted and down-to-earth. I also value intelligence and the ability to hold a conversation. What is also very important is not being afraid to be yourself.
I have no problem with long-distance relationships. I'm an independent person and can handle it. I believe that if something is meant to be, life will find a way :-)
