To start with, I'm not looking for a relationship based around my sexual preferences. I like that to be confined to the bedroom most of the time, unless we are going to some sort of fetish event or under other special circumstances. I'm not having a lot of luck finding people with similar interests to my own on "normal" dating sites so I decided that it was time to try looking for friends and / or potential partners on a more "alternative" site. I am not poly and i'm not looking for three (or more) somes or one night stands. I want a decent woman who wants to be treated well by a nice guy that just so happens to want to have deviant sex and dabble in some enslaving and possibly some other fetish-related fun. I am curious about having a 24/7 slave or submissive but that sounds like something that needs to have a LOT of kinks (no pun intended) worked out.
I'm definitely unique. I'm probably one of the nicest guys that you'll ever meet. I'm respectful, kind, affectionate, creative, giving, honest, cute, a good kisser, passionate and I have good morals. I'm the best friend that you'll ever have. I have had a life that has allowed me to see the world from many perspectives and I believe that I have become a better person for it. I have also become rather empathetic. I'm not religious at all but I definitely know how people are supposed to be treated. With that said I've been hurt a lot in the past and that's not going to happen anymore. If you are a bad person or don't treat me the way that I deserve to be treated we will definitely have a blunt discussion about it and I will pull no punches. I've been a musician for about 25 years. Right now I produce and perform various forms of electronic music and have multiple albums out. On occasion my music brings me on great adventures and it would be great to have someone to share them with.
I am a member of my local Lions Club and enjoy volunteering to help those less fortunate than myself. I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past but I haven't in a while. I should probably change that.
I have no tolerance for any racism, sexism, homophobia, fascism or anything else along those lines. I am very liberal, but not the crazy chaining myself to stuff or breaking into research facilities type. If you're into any of those things please stop reading this profile now and move on... preferably to the bottom of a lake.
My main hobby is music production and performance. I have 3 main projects that I work on regularly. One is industrial music. It's harsh, melodic and emotional. It's how I vent and this is the project that I have done the most with. My second project is harsh noise, ambient and (non-sketchy) power electronics. I have a 3rd project that is emotional electronica and idm. There are also several new projects and collaborations on the back burner. I also love to travel to new places and explore. Sometimes it's a road trip, sometimes a flight or maybe even going back to some of my old haunts. I love finding new and exciting food to eat, especially if it's some little hole in the wall place. I also dabble in photography and other art, exploring old cemeteries and historical places and some other things that you'll learn about once you know me for a while :)
My musical taste is pretty broad. I'm one of those people that can say "I listen to a little bit of everything" and actually know what that means. Yes, there are a million forms of music that you'll never hear on the radio... and I probably like at least some of all of it. I haven't actively listened to mainstream radio since about 1994. My first love was punk, and I still hold it very close to my heart. Right now I listen to more industrial than anything else, whether it be rhythmic noise, dark ambient, ebm, industrial rock / industrial metal or some of the much noisier stuff like Throbbing Gristle. Other forms of music that I enjoy are metal, noise, hardcore, post-hardcore, post-punk, indie, electronica, dubstep, brostep, drum 'n' bass, horror punk, jazz, swing, ambient, acoustic, classical, alternative, experimental and more that I can't think of off the top of my head or am getting too lazy to add to the list.
I'm also a big fan of horror and splatter movies. Braindead is probably my favorite. I also love pretty much anything by Troma, anything zombie, b movies and classic horror movies from the 70s and 80s by masters such as Fulci, Argento and Romero. I like every Miyazaki movie that I have seen. I like other movies as well, but not quite as much at the previously mentioned goodies.
If you're a musician of any kind that equals major bonus points. All creative or artistic types will receive bonus points but not as many as if you are a musician.
Bonus points are also awarded for tattoos, piercings, awesome hair and other things that I won't mention in this profile.
I'm USUALLY not into women that are at all older than me. It's not a judgement and it doesn't mean that I don't think that you're great or even extremely attractive. It's just a "thing" with me. That being said, it's not totally out of the question.
I'm not looking for someone that is obese or very overweight. Again this is not a judgement and I am certainly not shallow. I am actively in the process of bettering myself and leading a healthy lifestyle and I must be with someone that is on the same page. I'm diabetic and have so far lost enough weight to have a very good A1C (below diabetic levels) and I no longer need any medication for that problem. I am also trading much of my fat in for muscle.
Now for the honest but potentially deal breaking stuff:
• I don't work. I'm not a bum, slacker, lazy or a leech. I'm disabled due to a medical problem that causes some depression and memory loss. This is not a "typical" mental illness situation. I am also being treated for a couple of other things, but they don't cause many problems on one of my average days. I have absolutely no physical disability. If you have any questions regarding any of this I will not be at all offended and will be more than happy to answer everything that you ask with the purest honesty. I'm really pretty open about this.
• Because of my disability I live off of Social Security checks. I have a very meager income so I must be selective about how i spend my money. Some people are shallow enough to think that this is a big deal, so I'm putting right out here on the "front page". A couple of years ago my parents asked me to move in with them so that i could help them as they are getting older and so that I could better afford my medical care. I still live with them, we all get along and it's a mutually beneficial situation.
That's really pretty much all of my "baggage", and I have a whole lot of good qualities to make up for that. Seriously, I'm probably a MUCH better guy than the last jerk you met on here.
