[Update] Thank you all for your kind interest! We regret that due to nature of the ECHAN©, we can accept local inquiries only. We're confident you can understand our packaging and shipping restrictions. The ECHAN© received most of her training here, so we can also guarantee a more vibrant and responsive product when delivered locally.

Thank you for coming, everyone! It warms the hearts of all of us who have worked on this project for so long. And what a work! Over 26 years in development, we are (finally!) pleased to be able to announce the public release of the ECHAN©!

The ECHAN© is by far the finest product of her kind (1) on the market. Well spoken, versed in many schools of knowledge, tasteful in music and clothing -- quite a complete package! Her physical attributes need no description, but we must mention that she comes with the patented Lexi10® ass.

Our goal, our statement of purpose on this project, was to create a tool of service (2), for many and varied uses. The ECHAN©'s guiding focus can be summarized by the question always on her mind, if not her lips: "How can I be of use to you?" The ECHAN© has had a lengthy, modern education, most recently culminating with a Computer Science degree (3) from ASU. She has extensive theatrical knowledge, and is skilled reading and interpreting dense text, especially legalese. She can also be a sounding board to edit your ideas, or a living mannequin to practice your skills with. Her cleaning is exemplary, and the household skill we are most pleased with. She is well versed in all household chores, including pet care. Her personal services... Well, we cannot get into them here, but have faith that they will be all you expect, and more. Also keep in mind that she remains customizable -- she is a quick & accurate study, and her interests, despite already begun, remain moldable.

Now, we get to the hard part. The ECHAN© is not for everyone. She can be quite demanding (4), in her way. She requires clear, detailed, precise instruction on exactly what is expected of her. She welcomes feedback, craves it even, both negative and positive. Communication is limited, in the sense that many thoughts cross her mind but not her lips -- but a simple inquiry resolves this. Because of this, we will require all prospective clients to demonstrate a minimum level of verbal communication. Consider this not a limit, but an opportunity, to provide the other of her needs, reminders of her position and her place. Her place is beside you, or behind, but never in front. We created the ECHAN© to always work to your benefit, assisting in propelling you forward in whatever direction you may pursue. She truly enjoys her place, and reminders of it. Her favorite by far is a collar, but let your imagination guide your experimentation in discovering others.

We hope you have enjoyed this talk, and are looking forward to trying out and possibly owning an ECHAN© of your very own. For more information, or for a demonstration, please do not hesitate to call or email, keyword 'service'.

*applause*

Gah.

I feel like there's some set of rules, protocol, that one is supposed to follow when doing this, and I've completely ignored them.  Maybe my way of going about this is simply incompatible with foolish website.
Before I look for a play partner, or a lover, I look for a friend.  I believe that is the first test -- if we can't be friends, the rest isn't worth trying.  Also, my life story is pretty messed up in places, and I loath repeating it more often than I can avoid.  So I thought I had the perfect plan -- I was going to hang out at Denny's with a couple of my girlfriends, and a few people here were invited to come along.  Afterward, the ones that were friendly could be followed up with.
Apparently, this is the worst idea ever, and I am a completely evil moron who has misled people.  I'm still going to be at Denny's, I just hope this doesn't entirely blow up in my face.

My profile, wonder of wonders that it is, was 'Hidden' for 24 hours "due to numerous reports regarding  [...] problematic content".  I searched everywhere for guidelines or rules on what is allowed/banned in profiles, but couldn't find anything.  I put in a Support request to find out what the issue was, but have no yet received any response.

The links in the profile looked fine in the edit box, but apparently the html wasn't rendered on the actual profile page.  I moved the links to footnotes, and when I tried to save that version, I got the popup error "'.org' rejected by content filter".  So I removed the Wikipedia links, and it went through fine.

I'd really love to know what else the content filter doesn't like.
