I'm aware that my profile seems a little...hmm...aggressive. I need to edit a little, but rest assured that my assertions about not being "a true submissive" are mainly a matter of grammar. Roll your eyes if you must, but this is an important distinction for me.
"Submissive," to me, is an adjective. I can be a submissive girl, I can be a submissive partner or player, but I'm not just a submissive anymore than I'm just a blonde or a voluptuous. "Submissive" isn't a noun that defines what I am; it's a modifier that describes how I can be.
Because of its connotations, I don't even particularly like to use those words, "submissive" and "submit." When asked, "Are you a submissive," I always answer, "No, I'm a person. I choose to defer my will to the will of my partner, if it pleases him for me to do so. What are you?"
I'm a smartass like that sometimes. ;)
Anyways...don't be put off by my big-girl swagger. And if you have questions, just ask.
