The Gorean subculture has a lot wrong with it, but they do get certain things exactly right. They differentiate between different types of slaves, who have different functions. You have the passion slave (a sex slave), the kettle slave (like a cook/maid), the work slave (earns a wage), etc. etc. And they have a slave category called a "kettle & mat" girl. Kettle means cooking/cleaning and mat refers to a bed, meaning sexual service. So a kettle & mat slave is an all around girl who's normally the man's only slave, and serves a multi purpose as such.  So if I were to describe myself, I'd say I was a kettle & mat slave now, but previously I was simply a kettle slave with no sexual service involved. And the other thing about Gorean subculture is they typically place a very high value on service, over and above sexual service. If you want to be a passion slave you'd better be fucking gorgeous and trained in all the sexual arts, and your owner will also be keeping at least one other slave to serve him non-sexually.  This approach I find radically different than the mainstream BDSM approach, which seems to me to value sexuality over and above non-sexual service; in fact a BDSM sex-slave may not even see herself as serving you sexually, and views herself as being there to receive pleasure from all of the sex acts her owner engages in with her. Her owner is expected to please her sexually, and not the other way around.
