| I'm a 36 year old submissive Asian female. I'm an educated professional who is well used to being self-sufficient and in charge in my vanilla life, but I enjoy bottoming in BDSM play to Dominant men who I respect. For the right person, I am also a submissive, but I do *not* submit to everyone who calls themselves a Dom. I have submissive tendencies, but I fall on the spectrum between being a bottom and a submissive. Some would say that I'm about 70% bottom and 30% submissive (and then only to the right person. If your first instinct right now is to tell me to kneel, you're *definitely* not the right person). I've been involved in the BDSM lifestyle for about 6 years and have been involved with multiple groups in various parts of the country.
I moved to Phoenix in the fall of 2005. I'm NOT actively looking for a Dom at this time; I have too much going on with my life right now. Nor do I think that my life is incomplete without a Dom (far from it!). However, some of the best, nicest, most generous and giving people I've met have been in the BDSM community. I'm looking to establish a network of friends and possible play partners. If my life partner wanders by during this time, so much the better.
Oh, in case you are interested in what my idea life partner would be... For the long term, I'm looking for a single male for a long term relationship and marriage. I am looking for a partner who is intelligent, witty, roughly my age, emotionally mature, and who has a firm understanding/belief in loyalty and commitments. I am NOT interested in anyone who is married, in a committed relationship, or poly. I am also not interested in anyone who's idea of a profile picture is something that would get them banned in network TV (that just speaks to me of lack of class). And yes, you have to be able to impress me as a woman, and not just as a submissive. One line e-mails of "Do U want to chat?" doesn't qualify for either.
Updated: BDSM is more of a hobby for me. I love and enjoy it, but like I said in my original profile, it's not my all consuming focus. Currently, unfortunately, it ranks behind things like 'job, household, family, friends, and other elements of every day life." Hence my classifying it as a hobby. It makes me happy, but it doesn't complete me.
