I have been around the military my WHOLE life. My dad was in the Army for almost 30 years and retired in 2006. I have been married and divorced and KNOW being someones wife is NOT for me. To be honest we were both in military and just complicated things. I am mom of two great kids but because we were both in military after the divorce they live with my ex's family. I miss them greatly but I think its best for them. I also love travel! I guess in the military you are trained to submit and follow orders, but to be honest I have always felt strong and in charge. I have been a female minority surrounded by men for so long I guess I have felt like the dominant one that always got my way but I KNOW that is really not what interests me.
