The Slaves Paradox:

The more control a slave gives up, the more power they in turn gain.

For instance, if a slave allows themselves to be tied up in a very awkward position, they hold the power over the Dom/me in the forms of consent and the all-powerful safeword.  If, for some reason, things were to turn south, the burden of proof would be on the Dom/me to prove the consent.  However, without this consent or any other thread of trust, the Dom/me would never put the slave in that position, therefore giving the slave the control over the situation but taking the slaves power.

This is the first tidbit of my philological journey into the lifestyle.  Please feel free to comment if you would like.

So, Im trying to compile a philosophically-based tome of BDSM....Sort of a guide book for the new while at the same time being a field guide for the experienced to things they had never seen.

Problem is though, Im having a few issues working things around in my head, the largest among them being Financial Domination.  I can see it working in conjunction with other things, like Cuckolding and Blackmail; but on its own, it really isnt flying in my head.  Maybe there's something Im missing, and anyone who has any info, please feel free to message me on this subject.

What am I doing here...what are any of us doing here....

We stumble around in this void called cyberspace seeking what we hope to complete us.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it fails, but this is really a case of "Its the journey, not the destination."

The confusing thing is though, why am I lonelier now then ever before, ya know? Just doesn't make sense.

Oh well, guess I'll figure it out.
