3.  DO NOT GHOST.  Everyone has devices. Taking 3 minutes in the 24 hour day to say "hey" or even "i'm really busy or not feeling well" etc is all it takes.  If something develops that you are no longer interested, just say so. It's pretty easy "Hey, i'm looking elsewhere. good luck in your search" is all you need to send by some method.
