Not a so called 'Dom' that barks orders via my first msg, For me it takes alot of empathy and consideration to understand someone's deepest and unique submissive desires and urges and to drag her towards them with confidence. A true dom listens understands and reflects exactly the type of control and dominationn that you crave in your core.
Unfortunatly alot of pathetic selfish little men with communication issues that seem to confuse dominance with abuse and give true doms/dommes d/s and bdsm a bad name.
Your submission should Never be demanded. It's earned, given willingly and appreciated. And devoured hungrily.
Being a dominant is just about being comfortable and intouch with one's own masculinity, too many men in this day age are afraid to be men one way or another.

2/2/2011 7:04:37 PM: For me a big part of D/s for the male dominant is about masculinity. For a male doms it's about taking pride in that. It's about rediscovering or embodying those values. It's about upholding traditional primal instincts and urges in relation to women. These urges are two fold. To conquer to command to take to own and use, but also to protect to guide to defend to nurture. Far too many so called doms are angry with women. And with womenkind. They hold women in low regard. This is not what a real man thinks or does. A man that can't control himself isn't fit to control others. A man that has no respect for women isn't qualifed to call one his own. With the power of dominance comes the responsiablity. It doesn't mean a dom doesn't ravish or rape or claim his sub. But only that a true dom does so in all the ways she needs and craves, because he has the ability, patience and understanding to explore her mind and therefore not only claims but also DESERVES every inch of her shaking body. Some so called doms need to man the fuck up. Or atleast reserve the title for men more worthy of it than they are.

As I see it has nothing to do with anyone dressing up or acting like a little kid. Sorry that's not how I see it at all and while I'm not one to judge what other adults get off on together, I find that vibe 'off' to say the least. What it's about to me is a combination of protection and dominance. Security and fear. A balance between those things. It's about respect and acceptance of obligations and responsiablity within a d/s dynamic from both parties. It's about a non-selfish approach to dominance which i think a few so called 'doms' on CM would be wise to get their heads around...
