SHELTER:i am living alone in section 8 housing where rent is based upon income. Most of my bills are paid online. I honestly have a home healthcare provider who comes Mon-Fri my provider goes to post office for me monthly to retrieve a monthly money order so i can pay rent. where i am living Section 8 pays for water & trash, other bills i am required to pay (not bad in my opinion) i have central heat & air.
INSURANCE: Being i am on Medicaid & get my social security through DHS, i am signed up with a program called LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program), they pay my electric & heat.
Being i am on social security through DHS, i have a home healthcare provider who helps me with things like cooking, having a little help getting in out of shower due to having arthritis in my right knee having cerebral palsy i can bathe myself i try & want to be as independent as possible for i do not want to rely on others to do every little thing for me.
i receive food stamps each month, not much i honestly do my grocery shopping online using the WM Walmart app my groceries are delivered to my door without me having to pay for delivery being i am a member of WM Walmart plus.
my only insurance at the moment is SoonerCare, Medicaid i am unable to get Medicare being i have never worked. being i have Oklahoma Medicaid, and I am able to get to from my Drs appts free of charge by using SoonerRide but the rides have to be booked 3 business days prior to the appt so SoonerRide has enough time to find a driver.
