International Mr Olympus Leather 2011

I am Master Tallen. I came into the Master/slave lifestyle in 1997 as a slave. I began My evolution into Mastery in early 2002 and am proud of where My journey has taken Me. I have experienced a lot on both sides, and with the help of many, have been exposed to numerous perspectives. I enjoy sharing My experiences with others and trying to help them find their own paths.
I was the Deputy Director of a Master/slave Training Academy where I was helping Masters and slaves alike in their journeys since 2003. I was the architect of what was a very successful program. I served on the Board of Directors of MTTA, Inc., a 501-3c Non-profit Corporation that focuses on education in the Master/slave dynamic for five years, and held the office of Vice President.
I am one of the Founders of the annual Master slave Conference held in Washington, DC, and was happy to serve as the Stage Director for five years from the event's beginning. I have also volunteered for, and/or served on the staff of two other regional Master/slave oriented events, as well as at the International level.
In 2005, with My former slave andrew, I unveiled My proposal for the Master/slave Flag to the Community. I am proud and very humbled to see the symbol flying all over our Community in the forms of patches, pins, and flags. It has always been My goal that the symbol serve as a way to bring us together.
I have presented classes at events and other functions through out the country, and have attended many presentations by some of the community's best presenters. I love sharing what I have experienced as well hearing from others. I am also honored to have received many Pantheon of Leather nominations over the years. But the most rewarding thing of all has been the countless number of people I have helped along in their own journeys. Their successes, and words of thanks to me, mean more than anything.
In 2008 I won the Leather Title of Northeast Master, and in 2011 became Mr. Great Plains Olympus Leather and subsequently went on to win the International Mr Olympus Leather 2011 Title.
Currently I serve on the staff of the event Twisted in Tulsa, I am an owner of Great Plains Olympus Leather Contest, the Executive Producer of International Puppy and Trainer Contest, and on the Board of Regents of Leathermens’ Academy. I am a Member of NLA Dallas, DPEX, and MAsT.
I consider Myself very down to earth, which sometimes means I am too blunt for My own good. :) But I am very approachable and hope to meet many new friends here.
In addition to My interests in slaves, I am also Master to pups and boys. My s/m play interests include: electricity, bondage, mummification, wax, cbt, flogging, single tails, and more.

9/4/2012 12:48:54 PM: On Friday Aug 10 just after noon, I was trimming branches on a very large old oak tree on my land. (pictures to come) I was at the last I wanted to remove, a very large one over 20 feet up. I had a chain saw and was on a ladder. The branch snapped an unexpected way at the end of my cutting into it, and it came towards me too fast. It slammed into me and knocked me from the ladder. I fell directly back over 21 feet, landing on my hip area. I was alone, but had my cell phone in my pocket and called 911. They got me from the ground eventually transferring me 80 miles to Dallas Parkland hospital after evaluation here at the small trauma center in Gun Barrel City for 5 hours. I had broken my pelvis in 3 places and 3 broken ribs. There was a myriad of muscle and nerve damage, and I was very bruised and banged up. I had a partially collapsed lung, but no other major damage except a huge gash where the limb or chain saw hit me. With this type of pelvis break, I had surgery 3 days later to put pins in to hold it in place while healing. I spent 8 days in the hospital and am now home recovering. I am not to put any direct pressure on my right leg for the duration, 2 to 3 months. I can use rolling walker to hop on left leg with, but the rest of my mobility will be by wheel chair. And for now I can only get out of bed for about 3 hours a day. So I am pretty much out of commission for a while. I am dependent on others to help me do most things. Those of you who know me and know how active, stubborn, and independent I usually am can probably figure out how hard and frustrating for me this all is, and is going to be. :)
