I believe that submission is a gift to be offered rather than a prize to be taken. I dislike having to punish for bad behavior, far preferring to punish for enjoyment. I believe it takes two complete people to make a proper Ds pairing, each approaching the relationship as equals, else there is nothing to be gained by an exchange of power. I reject entirely that there is only one way to do anything, that a real submissive must do this, or, a true Dominant would never do that. I believe that every leash has two ends and that the relationship between a Dominant and submissive is a two-way responsibility. I do not believe that a Dominant must be an ass, or that being a Dominant somehow excuses one from being a decent person. I believe that consent distinguishes play from abuse. I have come to reject the concept of SSC (safe, sane and consensual) in favor of RACK (risk-aware, consensual kink) due to the largely subjective natures of safe and sane. I find that BDSM is much like playing extreme sports, wherein you must be aware of the potential dangers and protect yourselves as best you can if you wish to play.

I prefer female-identified playmates, and am not attracted to particularly masculine features. I adore breasts and visible hip bones.
