Sometimes, I like guys who do not care about me at all but defend me to make themselves look good. Bullied this one one guy when I was 13, he was 42 and some of my friends doxxed him. All around a stupid situation and it was just a clique where we made fun of him for messaging us, because he would make rules and try decide what all other people do, very dominating. And get other people to follow them. He spoke very pretentious. He was so 'good and moral', didn't do certain bad things, but was dominating and still very pretentious acting like he had the moral high ground on everything, but in an attractive way. Like he was stupid enough to insult one of my friends on accident with a joke, apologized for it, she didn't accept it. Then went to others and said she can just 'chase after his tail'. Because he wasnt going to apologize anymore so what if she didnt accept it. Sometimes Id think of him punishing me for being so horrible because he thought we were friends and I tried to get him kicked out of his group. I was mocking him while also recognizing his manipulative power. That tension between admiration and disdain can be pretty confusing, because he wasn't actually a bad person. Someone who tried to make everyone follow a set of rules, but he didn't do anything bad.
