Who am I?  I am a 59-year-old man, looking for a real relationship with a real woman.  My hope is that this relationship will be female-led and forever.

I have found that many people here focus on the “kink” and not the relationship.  Any successful relationship is built on honesty, good communication, genuine affection, and shared activities.  If this sounds very vanilla, well, it is.  It is not possible to do D/s activities 24/7.  There has to be vanilla compatibility to make the D/s dynamic work and flourish.  In fact, ideally, there shouldn’t even be a distinction between the vanilla and the D/s; they should naturally blend together.

In the vanilla world, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, and skiing.  I also enjoy good conversation, games, good food, reading, music, movies, and theater. 

In the D/s world, what interests me the most is are the manifestations of power and control.  The activities should emphasize the power dynamic, not define it.  For this to work, I need to surrender control to you, trusting that the decisions you make for me, you, and us are made with our best intentions at heart.  Even when I disagree with your decisions, I must abide by them, recognizing that lack of obedience on my part damages the relationship and I never want to do that.
