Time is a limited resource and I can't possibly respond to all the emails I am getting when work is busy. I may look at your email because I have a few minutes but don't assume that I have no interest if you do not get an immediate response. In my world real life face to face interactions take precedent over email inquiries and I will pursue individuals that can best meet my needs in my time frame. If a week has gone by with no response then it's safe to assume I have no interest not a few days. The need for immediate gratification is evident but I suppose it's the nature of online interactions.
