I ordered a new kind of steel chastity device, just had it delivered.  Now that I've tried it on, I can say it's definitely not made for comfort.  It fits so tight around me, I know this one is impossible to escape from, unlike the 10 or 12 I've tried over the years.    For the first time, I know escape is impossibe, which is absolutely terrifying.
