8/31/2023 5:24:59 PM: The social baggage of consensual slavery is enormous.  Both Owners and slaves have to look deeply into what it means to them, and find the common ground on which to build their dynamic. For me, an Owner is a person of character who wants to use another as they see fit.  It is in their interest to help the slave grow, but it is not their obligation to do so.  The slave is theirs to command. A consensual slave acknowleges the absolute authority of the owner.  In choosing to be a slave, the slave retains the right to reject the Owner's demands one time, which results in the end of the relationship.  Any other limits the slave might have carry no weight with the Owner, as the rights of the Owner are never to be constrained.   Indeed, a slave's boundaries must be pushed by the Owner.  It forces the slave to choose their path of either obedience to the will of the Owner or to reject the Owners desire. While a relationship can evolve from submission to consensual slavery, submission falls short of slavery by the retention of choice by the submissive.  Rather, a slave enters the relationship with no limits, trusting the judgement of the Owner.  A slave needs to present itself to the Owner naked, literally and metaphorically, so the Owner may impose their will. A slave is not entitled to dignity, other than that which comes from obedience to the Owner.  The slave cannot be embarrassed so long as it is performing the Owners desires.  A slave has no sexual preference except that its sexuality is determined by the Owner. Social expectations on males complicate an Owner slave relationship.  A male is supposed to be in charge, to lead, to be independent.  Breaking this dynamic is crucial to a male slave's psychology.  An Owner innately understands the contradictions and forces the slave to consciously choose a path of obedience.  An Owner strips away the social baggage and replaces the so called normal conventions with those which embody the Owners desires. An Owner will make it clear from the outset that they OWN their property.  It may appear dramatic, but it sets the tone for the entire relationship.  I know I am in the presence of an Owner at our first meeting by whether they clearly and unambiguously establish their authority.  Make me kneel, order my eyes down, make me address you formally.  An Owner will feel flush when I beg, they will smile at my nakedness and they will enjoy the tug of the leash.
